This was probably already talked about but I just finished watching the latest episode. What's up with this "Shenron can grant 3 wishes now" BS? Didn't Dende specifically say he could only do 2 back during Cell?

He can do three wishes unless one of them is used to revive a large number of people. In that case, he can only do two.

Vegeta's brother bugs me too. Never gave a shit about Raditz though because Goku didn't know him thus it was impossible for him to mention Raditz. Bulma and Vegeta though? Oh so you guys had siblings the entire time, but never mentioned it? Unless of course, they didn't know about their siblings in which case it wouldn't bother me much.

Like Vegeta's ever gonna tell people "by the way guys, I have a brother who disgraced our family by being a total weakling!"

No, he only wished to restore his youth. That increased his power too as a side-effect. At the time, Shenlong only granted one wish.

I must have read a bad translation.

on the spoilers for chapter six, some confusion

Apparently Vegeta says something like Gohan has the most potential... didn't he already reach his maximum potential via Elder Kai unlock? [insert toriyama forgets]

But that's on regular ki. With full potential unlocked and years without training, Gohan was significantly stronger than both Goku and Vegeta. Take that and add god ki training, and Gohan could theoretically be top dog again.

Whenever I think I'm about to like Dragon Ball again I get reminded this Vegeta brother worst kind of filler tier shit is actually canon and I remember what a trainwreck Dragon Ball is at this point. Doesn't help how much I hate the art/artist who draws the current chapters.

Wut

Tarble is NOT canon.

Bulma's a ditz and forgot to ever bring her up. Also this is dragon ball and they just add and change stuff whenever.

Doesn't excuse Bulma not bringing her up. The 2nd line was what I was going to tell you as Dragon Ball is clearly not perfect and so all of its decisions shouldn't be defended. If something is dumb, then it's dumb. That's why I'll always shit on Gohan. But hey, that's Dragon Ball.

It doesn't even matter if he is or not. He's not coming back to Earth and he can do less than Yamcha battle wise

It would be funny if they used non-canon Saiyans and made them canon in U6. Hello Turles and Broly

Hoping Vegeta's written test outs Buu and his plan to get Gohan wins out in the end.

I'm not so much defending it as I like to come up with something at least plausible sounding to explain when dragon ball changes stuff on us.

Buu will use his magic to copy someone else's answers.

I don't think Bulma's sister not being mentioned is that odd, well, mostly. We barely see the day to day life of the cast. There's little reason Bulma would bring up this sister of hers.

The big problem is the scene in the Buu Saga where they take everyone close to them to the Lookout. You'd think that she'd have taken her sister too.

Anime trumps movies, doesn't it? Tarble has not been mentioned in the anime and it covered the period in BoG. Therefore Tarble is not cannon I would say.

The anime didn't namedrop Tarble, unlike the movie, but the anime gave a lot of focus to the whole "Goku raddish farmer" bit that was introduced in the special. I guess if you assume that the timeline of Super is different from the movies it doesn't fit anymore, but if they're still trying to line up with the end of Z, it could easily still be there (Tarble's special took place 2 years after the Buu Saga, so if Super's "sometime later" is after that it could easily still be there).

Because he has so much and pardon the pun, potential. He's simply misused. Of course that goes for a few other characters as well which happens in many anime and manga when the main character gets stronger and stronger and his friends/allies get left behind.

In the case of Dragon Balls, I almost want to see them or any "I'm alive" again plot point gone. That way if someone dies, it actually means something. No "Just kiddings, I'm alive again" moments.

The only misused character is Krillin.

Like how they gonna have a fight over earth and not include the strongest human.

Toriyama you be clownin'.

Because we're tired of watching the same 1-2 characters fight over and over and over and over and over and over. Especially when DBZ has a great supporting cast ready to kick some ass if the damn writers would hop off of Goku's...well. You know.

Pretty much. I'd even accept Trunks at this point.

So Buu and Piccolo and a mystery Strong Fighter aren't good enough?

Also KRILLIN?!
