I should have watched the show.

I mean doing more than just updating his master's symbol lol.

Tights is Bulma's sister, she travelled with Jako (the alien dude from RoF) on Earth pre-Dragon Ball.

Yeah I've known about her for a while, but I don't like the idea of Bulma having a sister because she was introduced way too late. Something like that just bugs me.

It's not like she was on Earth during Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, she leaves Earth at the end of Jaco and she's still in space during Super.

Goku had a different Gi in BoG and the BoG arc of Super, it's basically his Cell/Buu arc Gi, but with his "Go" symbol from the Namek arc on the front and back.

So he was visualized in his own personal hell in the form he died in, I don't see the problem with that. He's given a representation of his body before he died and then he's not even able to move, seems like something they'd do in Hell to me, it's not like he gets to run around like Goku did. Also the spirits are people who are still waiting to be judged.
All of this is subjective and nothing is stated of the sort but hopefully they clarify it in Super.

It's also safe to assume you get your power taken away in that Hell unlike GT and all the filler episodes.

Not really, it's just the logical conclusion from the information we are given, evil people don't keep their bodies and Shenron states Freeza's body is on Earth and in pieces, meanwhile we see Freeza in hell will a "body" but is unable to do anything and outside of his torturers he is the only one there. I don't think they really need to clarify anything considering it seems to paint a pretty clear picture.

I imagine that's because they don't keep their bodies.

What about Vegeta's brother? And Goku's brother?

Vegeta's brother bugs me too. Never gave a shit about Raditz though because Goku didn't know him thus it was impossible for him to mention Raditz. Bulma and Vegeta though? Oh so you guys had siblings the entire time, but never mentioned it? Unless of course, they didn't know about their siblings in which case it wouldn't bother me much.

I think Vegeta just didn't give a shit because he was rejected from the royal family for being weak.

Except Freeza's body isn't on earth, which is why Shenron hesitates in reviving him since it would be worthless to bring back a body in pieces. Not to mention there's no possible way for it to be intact after so many years especially considering Buu blew the earth up not too long ago.

It's far from a clear picture and possibly contradicts the manga since it was apparently a big deal for Vegeta not having a body when he committed suicide against Buu.

No, Shenron said it would be worthless to bring Freeza back to life because his body was in pieces, not that it would be worthless to bring the body back. You don't think that when Earth was restored that all the dead matter came with it? I don't know why dead bodies wouldn't be restored with the planet.

And as far as I remember(I could be remembering wrong) the only time a big deal was made about Vegeta not having a body was in a movie, in the manga I'm pretty sure the next time we see him after he kills himself is when Yemma summons him to go back to Earth and not much is said about it after that. And even if something is said, who says he even made it to his hell? The judgment line is pretty big and barely any time passes before he comes back.

And again, who says Freeza actually has a body in Hell? It's not like he can move or anything, it can easily just be part of his own personal Hell.

Shenron says that his body was cut into pieces and than obliterated long ago. Nothing about the pieces still hanging around after all this time.

Not to mention If Freeza's body was in some way attainable on earth then his henchman wouldn't even need Shenron to bring him back.

On the topic of the final page.
Champa judged Goku and Vegeta based on them wearing those super heavy suits whilst in their base forms, I'd laugh if he grabs two Universe 6 Saiyans that haven't even become regular Super Saiyans.

I'm thinking we'll get something better, actually. If he's grabbing saiyans straight from U6's planet Vegeta?

They still have tails.

.

"Of course it is possible... however this person's flesh was reduced to pieces long ago and cannot be restored. There would be no point in returning a soul to a body in such a state."

They needed Shenron to bring him back to life, even if they manged to somehow find the pieces of his body and regenerate it his soul would still be in Hell.

Here's the last bit translated from the latest Dragon Ball Super manga chapter.

The Nameless Planet
The six Wish Orbs float in the sky (they really are planet-sized)

Champa: "Needs some bathrooms. And I want there to be shop stands too...Alright! I guess this'll do for a stadium."
Vados: "By the way, have you already decided on your five contestants?"
Champa: "Those two over at Beerus' place were probably Saiyans...We'd better get some Saiyans too..."

Get hyped for female super saiyans with them even foreshadowing it in this chapter by talking about them in comparison to Bulma and Chichi!

Prepare to be disappointed.

Evil Gine

Any idea where that translation came from? The one I was going off of said this.

"Of course it could be done..., But his body was cut into pieces and obliterated many years ago, and I cannot restore it. There is little point in restoring his soul to that form".

I'm just going off memory too but maybe that was just an anime thing. However, I do remember distinctly reading in the manga after Goku dies from Cell that bad guys like him don't get to keep their bodies. My problem is that it doesn't say anything and shows Freeza with a body in Hell so all you can do is assume. Which is why it wouldn't hurt for a little explanation either in Super or a guide book when one inevitably comes out.

Explicitly wishing someone back to life only returns their soul to their body and where their body was. The Namekian dragon says he fixed Kuririns body as a bonus when they wished him back to life. And Goku would've been resurrected in space where Namek exploded (if he had died with the explosion).

Of course Toriyama being Toriyama, this gets forgotten about.

Vegetas soul was supposed to be scrubbed clean and reborn after his death but Lord Enma kept it intact since he had a hunch he'd be needed.

That explains that then. The whole process of getting revived is needlessly confusing considering what's left of Freeza body has to be on a cellular level at best and miraculously survived years on a planet that has already exploded once.

I'll just chuck it up to it being Dragon Ball and will stop thinking so hard about it.

Piccolo should fuse with Lord Slug: https://youtu.be/Upy2SEnP9MU?t=2m46s

That was a story in one of the videogames

I forgot what happened

It was in Supersonic Warriors. Piccolo ended up being the strongest on Earth after Goku died in the Cell games, but was no match for Buu when he showed up. To get stronger and become the original being he once was, he went to Namek to get three wishes:

1) Bring back the soul of King Piccolo who separated from Kami
2) Revive King Piccolo

... which he then fused with after beating him up.

3) Then he wished himself back to Earth.

He should've just wished for unlimited power or something.

This piece from Supersonic Warriors sounds so dumb...I bet thats the route Toriyama is going for with Piccolo :D

Can't wish for unlimited power brah. Wishes are limited by the power of the creator of the Dragonballs. Reviving people just works though no idea why.

Even Baba who's just a sorceress can go to heaven and bring back dead people, although it's just for one day and she can't actually resurrect them. Creators of DB probably have that power.

DB as in Dragonballs? Currently its limited to what power limit Dende has. Creators of the SDB's? No idea.

This is a very Saiyan thing to do, haha.

More Saiyans is some super hype nonsense, giveittomenow.gif

Champa has been searching for them for decades, he definitely has a wish in mind, that's for sure. He even knows about Namek's balls, so the fact that he's going for the Super Balls means his wish is something big.
Well yeah I mean the namek DB's
come from the shaved off bits of the Super DBs so he should know about them.

Can't wait to see what the Super DB's Dragon looks like. Actually maybe thats the bad thing? Summoning the Super Dragon Destroys the universe.

my theory on this is that 99.9999% of the people get reincarnated as someone else once their souls are cleaned up, and that takes around a year, so if you wait more than a year, chances are the soul will be in someone else's body, so by resurrecting them you'd be killing someone else and the dragon won't do that

this is backed up by Piccollo and Vegeta talking about resurrection just before Vegeta suiciding trying to kill Buu

but Freeza is a special case cause he is so evil he either cannot be cleaned up by the regular methods and needs years and years of cleaning, or he just was sent to hell forever

this would also mean that people like Goku, who were left to live in the afterlife with no reincarnation, could be revived by the dragon balls with no problem, but nobody thought of it cause they had already been told that there was a time limit

toriyama prolly just forgot, but this makes sense to me

You are the one who forgot. piccolo told Vegeta that his soul will be in the limbo.

That is, until the next series Dragon Ball Super Z when the Ma-Hakaishin of Universe -7 shows up and Goku and co. explore the minus universes.

Goku jumps backwards on Earth and clips through the ground where he fights Shenron over and over again in the Earth's Minus World.
