apparently me asking for them to add the 30% pre-order promo to my order meant "go ahead and cancel my order"

called 2 different CSRs and they can't find my order at all in the system now. they're suggesting contacting the CSR that sent me the e-mail saying my order was cancelled and figure out what the hell happened

And ya, that is why it's not clear. I believe you just had to have the SE cartridge to get the 3rd route, so they might consider that as having the 3 games in one cart? I don't know and I suspect we'll only figure it out when it releases.

Edit: I checked again and I think you were correct about invisible kingdom being ready by the base game's release. Sorry about that.

Oh lol that's fine, nothing to apologize over.

Fortunately 3ds/vita are the only two things I'm spending money on, so I guess Fates won't be too bad.

I'm pretty sure the preorders of the SE will vanish the moment it's online, I'll just grab one version and get the other 2 on the eshop.

Actually I didn't do anything. I had an old Fire Emblem preorder and I asked a CSR to add Horizon to it.

He did but he also changed Fire Emblem's price (and I have no idea why).

I guess he felt he had to apply a 30% discount or something.

I'm not going to complain :) And no, I haven't been trying to game the system at al! I only asked for one pricematch :P
 
I actually contacted Best Buy customer service today to see why my order has taken so long to process. The response was that my order is in the final stages of being processed, and that I need to contact their bill-to-phone number and use option 2 to confirm my order. If I don't do this within five days they'll cancel my order.

What the actual fuck? Is this normal?

Well all I want is to add one more game to my existing order with current offer lol. What a pain. Guess I will cancel and reorder them again.

Why? It will create a new order that is linked to your existing one and you will get full benefits of the current offer.

I linked an order to my ZTPHD and the game, in its own order, got the 30% promo discount, same with Zelda in its own order

The last time I received something from Best Buy (Majora's Mask LE), it shipped out on Thursday and arrived Friday afternoon-evening. So I'll assume the same now and save my panic.

This sudden availability of XcX SE copies on amazon...


I'm about to cancel my BB preorder for the amazon one (cashback), but I'm worried that they might suddenly tell me that it was all a mistake or something and cancel it

Oh, shitty. I have those items in my BB Monday order as well, but I've not seen anything other than "in progress" for all my orders on that site. Odd that they are forcing you to phone to bill as opposed to just taking your credit card. I've luckily had no issues with my payment methods yet.

The In Progress thing is normal for preorders, since it's technically in progress until the item ships. However, usually after ordering you get a second email to say your order has been processed. I never got that email, just a confirmation my order was placed.

There were zero issues two weeks ago when I did a preorder. Will be interested to see what happens tomorrow when I call.

Last time they sent me a similar email, the item got cancelled.a few weeks later.
 
So my Black Ops 3 order from Amazon shipped with Intelcom, no idea who they are and never heard of them. Hoping there's no issue and that the post office is close by, don't want to have to pick it up too far away from me.
 
So BB will release the FE SE during business hours, and will announce it ahead of time. I hope they do it Friday since that will make it more likelier for me to be able to preorder.

Yeah, I got the same email for KH3 and FF15. I have gotten similar emails for other items, but the item they did end up cancelling was oop so it was understandable.

I just got it for Star Fox. I've gotten these before, but I don't recall them ever cancelling an item.

Jeez, I really hope I don't get that email for Xenoblade Chronicles X SE. I just ditched my BB order for amazon. *gulp*
