Is everyone saying the film was spoiled because Doomsday was a secret to this point?
it's so.... campy....
How many people are going to superhero movies for their finely, densely, intricately layered plots.
Anybody?
Raise your hand if your major in to superhero films, or superheroes in general, is the strength of their PLOTTING.
Get 'em up there, guys. Lemme see ya.
Huh.
They're all basically the same plot, though.
The trailer felt disjointed.
It was going well until Lex Luthor opened his mouth. Yikes. He doesn't fit the ~gritty tone of the movie.
Wonder Woman popping out of nowhere was... random.
I do love their attention to detail:
Metropolis is shown to still be in the process of rebuilding (which makes sense after all the destruction from MOS), something that a lot of superhero films tend to sugar coat.
I just find it ironic that someone who clearly knows nothing in regards to what these films are based off of is so quick to defend them.
But if you really need to defend a shit trailer you've got some work to do in this thread.
Lex seems awful.
You actively have to try to make a Batman v Superman movie look bad; and somehow WB is doing it, mainly by shoehorning a thousand fucking characters into this movie.
It is, which makes it weirderAlso Doomsday's CG looks bad, but I'll chop that up to shitty youtube bitrate. Although Warcraft's Durotan looked IMMENSELY better. Would assumed IL&M was doing the CG on this too though. Weird.
I'm getting Spider-Man 3 vibes from this trailer, too much going on. It's already busy with lex, batman, Wonder Woman, now you add doomsday as well?
keep it simple stupid!
Lex looks corny as hell, they should've just gotten Marc strong and be done with it.

I'd sure like them to. The Dark Knight is my favorite superhero film, and I think the action in it isn't much to get excited about. If we're going to be given twenty superhero movies a year, it'd be nice if they occasionally had something interesting other than how a punch is delivered or what costumes the people standing next to each other are wearing. How many people are going to superhero movies for their finely, densely, intricately layered plots.

Yeah sorry, but if you know anything about Doomsday and the DC universe you'd realize that Doomsday is such a boring character. Them "saving" this cardboard character would have done nothing and no I don't want to see Death of Superman in live action, it would make him coming back even dumber and convulted.
Daredevil is a good example, but it unfortunately didn't have the CG budget to show NYC still rebuilding.Except for the entire plot of Daredevil sorta
But I do see what you're saying and agree.
Kinda funny seeing how diverse the opinions are. 1 will say it looks great, then 1 immediately says it looks bad, etc...
Don't know why I find it so funny, nothing wrong with it. It actually feels like people having opinions, and not blindly praising or hating on it.
I personally liked the trailer though the editing was HORRIBLE for the trailer and am unsure about Batman holding the gun. Although, I am assuming it isn't really a normal "gun" since a gun wouldn't hurt Superman, let alone Doomsday.
See
This is why the Comic Con trailer should never have gone public
Or have one at all.
I need a gif of afflecks smirk when Clark brings up the batGAF WHERE ARE THE GIFS YO ?
