I said MSRP :P

If I went with my pre-order for Birthright and got the others as DLC then it'd be about $81 I think. $19 extra is ok with me in this case.

It's literally less than 200m away from my school. I can just leave class 10 minutes early and idle in front of the store till they open. This happened last time where I walked into the EB Games after class and they had boxes of
new amiibo's
and I basically got some as they were just about to open up the box to put them up on the shelf.

I actually got my TE2 at a local video game store. They only had 2. I know EB Games at some point carried TE2's as well. Pretty sure there'll be a bunch of stock when SFV comes out. Wouldn't hurt to find one now and start practicing though

Fair enough. Though, in Canada it is possible to change your 3DS location to Alberta if you live in another province to reap the cheaper sales tax too if you choose to go digital on the DLC.
 
got an update from BB on my "cancelled" order. apparently they can't reinstate it because whatever the CSR did when he cancelled it, it's not showing up in their system anymore
so that means I lose out on the $79 TPHD
they said that the only thing they can do is give me 30% or 100$ off my next order

here's hoping that TPHD comes back in stock so i can get that for free basically then

the other item was just hte FE placeholder so didn't really lose much on that, unless they change that placeholder to the SE then FUCCKKK
 
I sure hope Bestbuy or Amazon will update their preorder list if/when interesting games are announced tonight. I can dream!
 
I wish Bestbuy would fix their damn site. I know their system literally runs on windows 95 or something, but jesus, it's like they don't want me to spend money there.
 
I went ahead and ordered one of those sticks just in case. I've always wanted an arcade stick so now's my chance, I guess. I can always cancel if my conscience gets the better of me.

It's cheaper then what I paid for my TE2 not too long ago. But will now have a touch pad which my other one did not. And has some nice art work, which my other one, does not. It's a great deal. The sticks are awesome and you can really feel the quality behind them. It's a no-brainer at that price.

Yea, preordered the TE S+ and the TE 2+, was already going to do it without the price drops, and with those pricing errors, it was a no brainer. Been a decent string of pricing errors on amazon.

I always figured they worked out a deal with Madcatz that they won't make the SFV compatible with PS3 sticks... or else no one would buy PS4 sticks. That hurts Madcatz.

The most annoying thing to me isn't the money. It's having to store these massive fucking arcade sticks somewhere. At this point I have a PS3, 360 and soon PS4 stick ; _ ;

Yes, I have three sticks and they're just piled up. lol

MarkMan, who I guess doesn't work for Madcatz anymore, has constantly said that there is no secret relationship and that they love the Skullgirls driver. So I have no idea what to believe. Maybe Japan hates the FGC and is too lazy to implement the driver... who knows.
 
Those arcade sticks are tempting, but how cross-compatible are they?

For instance, if I wanted to use one to play a fighting game on my PC through a USB connection... is that possible with either of these sticks?

They'd be fun to use on not only fighting games but other arcade style titles as well.

Yeah, it works on PC. I have a PS4 TE2 already and it works on my PC just fine.

Also. I do work for Mad Catz, still. We did not lobby/rally to fuck anyone over.

When that reddit post said "most stores having under 15 available for pre-order" I was quickly reminded by the EBGames I visited today that technically zero is a number under 15.
They either weren't getting squat or their preorders were spoken for.

So make sure your store is getting any stock before lining up.

Oh okay. Maybe I confused you for someone else on gaf who had recently left their company. lol

Honestly I don't get why the Arcsys guys won't put the driver into their games, but if Capcom doesn't do it for SFV then I really have no idea what to think anymore. Certainly you can see why I still have conspiracy theory leanings to this day, particularly when Logitech basically fucked over its customers with driving wheels and the release of the G29.

So now Best Buy said XBX won't be shipped until tomorrow. Wtf...

Is Canada Lost doing weekend delivery yet? I'm going to be fucking livid if Best Buy starts turning into Amazon levels of shit when it comes to shipping.
 
Super glad that I got the shadaloo stick preordered at that price error.

Honestly though, I don't feel great about buying another stick for full button functionality. I bought a te2 at launch and was shocked/annoyed at the lack of a touchpad-click/select button. It's good that their new design fixed it but I feel that there's no excuse for that not being there in the first place and I'm not sure I want to support that decision with another purchase. We'll see.
