Bah, I find the whole andriods being stronger than a super sayian to be ridiculous, especially androids from earth. Red Ribbon army should have stayed dead.

I will never accepted that red ribbon army could go from making androids that are pretty weak to making androids that are stronger than legend.

Something that should have been 5-10 minutes of one episode was stretched out into probably over 20 minutes across like 8 episodes

I stop watching OP when the anime reach Dressrosa Arc, so they doing the thriller bark arc shit again, repeating and flash back hell and giving you maybe 2-3 mins of canon?

Super saiyans don't have infinite stamina. The fact that the android could never tire and had unlimited energy is consistently brought up in the fights against them.

But then we wouldn't have gotten Android 16.

Dr Gero is the most intelligent genius in the entire series. He used science and cold hard technology to create some sort of unlimited alternative to ki energy itself, and he used it against people that just relied on their natural biology and natural training. I don't see what's ridiculous about that.

Hell, even now Goku is completely outclassed by Beerus and has to rely on "god ki", an alternative to normal ki energy, to even stand a chance.

Same here

We never saw #8's upper limits in the first place though (at least not in the manga).

Also, alien technology is overrated. Although they had better space travel tech, they didn't even have capsules. So, DB Earth has better miniaturization tech than the Freeza empire, which fits in with superior cyborg tech.

I wanna see android 18 fight again.

It makes no sense to spoil the tv series like that for a spin off manga.

My thoughts as well. Sadly I've kinda been avoiding the thread because of that, even though everyone here is pretty good about it.

Well remember that animation is done on computers these days.

Yeah, true. I was more or less just thinking about what kind of sense it makes to have a work cycle where one team rushes out subpar work, and a second team (if it is one) rushes to fix it for a relatively speedy home release. From what I've read on here, though, it seems like a tough field to be in.

That said, episode 5 is the only one that really looked that bad to me, and even then only in certain parts (the main SSJ3 sequence in it looked good, anyway).

one piece became unwatchable before the time skip. is it even worse now? ; _ ;

One Piece became unwatchable for me as well. The pacing just straight up got glacial lol.

To this day, Dr. Gero making such powerful beings boggles my mind. Like good lord, what kind of tech did that motherfucker have? Extremely impressive whenever I think about it.

Naruto I would also call unwatchable. I'm surprised with the people who still watch the anime barring certain moments. The animation/art and pace is seriously irritating at this point.

Not even the filler. The war arc just mostly sucks. I personally haven't watched much of the filler so I can't really speak on it, but it's annoying that it exists because I want it to progress already.

Eh, some of us like filler.

Nah, I likes all that jazz in any show.

....

You are a strange human being.

My views on filler is that if your going to fill something to buy time, make it compelling. Garlic Jr was at least something interesting and I wish the Other World Martial Arts Tournament was canon so Pikkon could be in DBS and who can not forget the car driving episode?! to this day its talked about as being 1 of the greatest DBZ fillers ever those fillers are memorable because they were at least somewhat well done.

The trash Naruto is doing now, its to kill budget and outlive the show for god knows why series 1 had its filler hell too remember, right after sasuke left? boom, arc after arc after arc of filler. this time its worse because were not waiting on a new series, mangas dead video games are done too and theirs no sign of a Boruto manga coming this show's series is done why drag this out?!

I think one of the best things I like about Buu is he's the sort of villain you can see Toriyama making rather than 'filler'/'anime' producers. It also reminds me how the maker of Broly talked about how he felt Broly was better since he looked scarier than Beerus when one of the best parts about Beerus is that he's basically the anti-thesis to a lot of the Dragon Ball movie villains. This is even evident when you look at the villain Toei was originally going to make before Toriyama got involved.

Do you have a link to this? Any pics I can see?

I dunno, Buu made an amazing villain because all of his forms were cool. My favorite was Evil Buu.

In comparison, Freiza and Cell's forms were pretty boring.

I actually like Fat Evil Buu quite a bit as a villain. I just like how the character straddles the line between being a childish simpleton, and a malicious monster. When Fat Buu got pissed, I actually found him to be pretty intimidating.

One Piece filler is good though and I kinda miss them doing that.
One piece doesn't even have alot of filler arcs thats the funny part toei just paces it slow as hell. They actually need more filler arcs. So you guys be glad the manga isn't in control as much for bd super because trust it would be the same

This is quoted from the Wiki, but it is at least sourced.

The scriptwriter Yūsuke Watanabe originally envisioned Beerus as a villainous character who infects people with evil and was the one who gave the Saiyan race their ruthless characteristics.[17] Also, Beerus originally looked like a lizard, but Toriyama changed his design entirely.[18]

Posted it earlier. The sources list a guide book and a japanese interview on the wiki.

One Piece filler peaked with G-8

One Piece doesn't really have filler. In place they stretch a single chapter out across a full episode at minimum, if not over multiple episodes. Not to mention reactions! Hopefully you like 2 minutes of the characters reacting!

They all have their issues. Naruto has good pacing when its normal material, but the filler is amazing shit. One Piece doesn't have filler, but they stretch the entire thing out to the point of annoyance.

I'm enjoying the pacing of DBZ and the "filler" episodes in between have been some of my favorite.

Current One Piece anime spoilers:
fucking Bellamy bouncing everywhere for 8 weeks was awful

Also I welcome DBS filler arcs or episodes. If anything maybe one day they can animate Jaco's backstory

I like seeing characters in shows doing non-compelling non-amazing things, just random shit for the sake of it. Makes the characters stronger in my eyes, as well as making it more fun overall. Filler is usually where lesser character shine too.

Every filler episode with Bulma in the Namek saga was amazing.
