I admit I didn't but it's pretty easy to guess how these guys work.
What they did with forge and btb is bad enough..... They already made it bad. They can't fix it now. Even if they fix new arena maps without sight issues, fog and light bloom. They are far too deep in wrong ideas and designs right this ship.
I admit I hope they wouldn't just make remixes for arena but I'm not surprised.
My dissappointing feelings have already happened with map designs and other issues. Now I'm just watching these issues continue.
I still keep one percent hope they change their ways but why I even do that. It's extremely, extremely disappointing..

Yes, yes you can. Contact Xbox support and ask for a refund. Explain that you were dissatisfied with your purchase. If they balk ask to see their supervisor. If their supervisor balks threaten to start posting on twitter.
Whatever it takes to get you separated from this game and out of these threads, DO IT.
I'm sure they've made way more than that. A reasonable guess is 25% or so goes into the prize pool. That's what valve does with Dota 2 for example.

They actually probably made way more than that. Not sure what % of each REQ pack goes to the prize pool but there's no way that it's more than 50%.

I will start playing again when the game gets new game modes. I don't need new variants of the Mongoose or new armors that look identical to all the other armor variants.
We knew this for a while i think all of the O.G maps are being remixed

We really need legendary weapons like the SPNKR, Prophet's Bane and CE magnum in forge, I don't care about the small variants, but the uniques need to be there.

$1 mill is just what they've added to the prize pool. Would have made far far more on top of that through REQS. Millions would have been made off of the premium req bundle alone.
I think he believes if he keeps saying it enough, people will join his way of thinking.

I made a joke about one of the worst maps on the game and it's almost true that it's a plaza remake? Don't worry. If this is true I promise I'll try to get a refund cause I can't even connect to half the playlists anyways. I'm not mad, but id rather support a better dev in another game
I understand it's not confirmed so I'll just wait it out and see what map it is.

OP should add that Bonnie said there would be new content monthly and that they're treating Halo 5 as a service. Hopefully this means a new map every month or two. It would do wonders for preserving the population

It's been known that we were getting monthly content drops to cooincide with the soon to start monthly seasons for awhile now.
I believe Frankie commented on that a while back when they had a trailer with that same thing saying it's a legal thing. I could be completely wrong though.

Doubtful I'll be the only disappointed person. I just happen to be a really big halo fan. If I ever step over a line of hope and mod can pm me and inform me.

If people are happy with halo 5 maps and remakes of those maps that is fine with me. But I dont personally want that.
1 Flag CTF exists already in customs, and is slated to be a Weekend Playlist. But in that video is definitely Normal CTF as there are two CTF Icons. Capture and Defend Icons.

New Warzone map looks amazing though, loved the urban city maps from Halo 2, haven't gotten maps like those in a long time.

I would assume with Forge coming, we should be getting a nice collection of game modes. We'll have to see tomorrow with the community update on Waypoint.
Remixes are fine to me as long as the feel of the map is changed both esthetically and physically.
Truth / Regret is fine
Empire / Eden isn't
So far, Overgrowth seems really different, although we'll have to wait and see the map layout.
What we saw of The Rig's and Fathom's remixes look promising, for example.

At least it's something. Arena is tight enough to be affected by tweaking existing maps. I really just want more Warzone maps tbh
