Last I checked, Mark of Kri doesn't work on PCSX2.

Coming from the perspective of someone who collects PS2 games, these are reasonable prices for enhanced digital versions of these games. Yes, Mark of Kri can be acquired for $5-$10, but I think the additional features add value.

Plus, good games get to be played by more people.

Basically just trophies? Are you forgetting the pretty huge graphical improvement? To me that's by far the best feature.

Other BC is just basically the same game you can play on the old console looking just like it did before, what we're getting is better than that. People using the awesomeness of PCSX2 and Dolphin to revisit great old games know this.

It'd ofcourse be cool if there were some kind of upgrade program atleast. Though a number of these games never made it on in the first place.

Because I don't want to do all of that shit, and $15 is not a lot of money to spend on a classic game I know i will enjoy and play and worth the convenience of not having to dig out or buy an old console, or, again, do all of that shit you mention.

And how well are ps2 games going to emulate on a stock i5 laptop with no graphics card?
I tried to play vice City recently on my ps2 and it looks like shit on an HD tv.

I'm really surprised sometimes by how many posters don't seem to understand not everyone has the same options they do. Lots of 'Be angry at this because I am' going on.

Considering it's just one PS2 game out of many I wouldn't attribute any deeper meaning to it myself, but anything's possible. Especially if sales of this rerelease are any good.

Well we have heard rumours before. And it does seem like a very random choice to have among the first wave of PS2 games to appear on the PS4.

PS2 Classic on PS3 were 10 bucks and those were just ISO dumps.

These are 15 bucks, with upscaling, trophy support and share play. Seems reasonable. I would love them to be cheaper of course.

And PS2 disc games are still pretty cheap in the used market as well, but it is what it is.

Most of the games they showed weren't my first choices as well.

Just give me Ape Escape 2 and 3.
