It has taken 5 a long time, I think it was severely hurt by the dismantling/downsizing/relocating of SEGA of America.

Honestly, if they announced Yakuza 0 though, I'd be so happy and call it on of the best events of all time.

That said, I could be having the worst shit of my life in severe agony and Adam Boyes could sneak in the window and just whisper in my ear "Yakuza 0" while my pants are down, cheeks on the seat and I'd call that one of the best events ever.

Can confirm. It (Persona 5) won't be at PSX in any way. Neither ATLUS or SEGA are exhibiting, I'm not going, nothing is happening for us at PSX.

So I wouldn't get your hopes up for Yakuza either, if SEGA won't be there

Not exhibiting at the show doesn't mean there can't be an announcement on stage. Especially since Yakuza 5 was announced by Sony, rather than Sega anyway.

Being there and having Sony announce things are two different things, so Yakuza 5 could still be there at the conference. Might even be playable at Sonys booth since they've been doing a lot of the messaging for it.
