It looks better than the first one but Bebop and Rocksteady's CG still bother the fuck out of me.

Looks like the TMNT I know.
Ever noticed that every car has to do a front flip since The Dark Knight?. Whoever has the technique for that seems to make some business in Hollywood.
I tried to hate it but I just cannot. It looks awesome lol.
That was a very annoying trailer
"How do we get 30 year old men who were fans of TMNT as children to go see a shitty movie they otherwise wouldn't?"
"I dunno, put Bebop and Rocksteady in it. Double the nostalgia dose."
Fuck, these marketing guys are dangerously good. They know.
Looked like silly fun, and I never touched the first one.
A few years ago we were talking about Colonel Schrader and Alien Turtles, now we're talking about Bebop & Rocksteady and Manhole cover launching vehicles.
I don't know if all this fan service is due to all the fan outcry from the leaked script from that first movie(and the crappy movie itself), but if it is, good on ya for speaking your minds, Turtle fans. And good on Paramount for actually listening.![]()
Pretty much. Like at least it kinda knows it's bad. I'll probably see it when I'm bored on a SaturdayThis looks bad(good) IM IN.
Turtle Van chase scene
Isn't that the plot to like every episode from every TMNT cartoon EVER?Still looks awful. They are squeezing shredder, aliens, rocksteady and bebop, and Casey Jones into a single movie.
Yeah, that'll go well

Did you prefer Spielberg's cinematography on The Dark Knight Rises?Bay's cinematography is actually going backwards in quality. His first movies was miles better. Tho he had a lot of help from Bruckheimer and Don Simpson.

Apparently different characters were owned by different studios back in the day. Bebop and Rocksteady were created for the 1987 cartoon series and were owned by Fred Wolf Films, while the movie rights were given to New Line Cinema. New Line couldn't use Bebop and Rocksteady, so they had to make two substitute characters. But currently Fred Wolf Films and Nickelodeon are owned by the same parent company, Viacom. So it is all under the same roof now. This is why the Turtles Forever movie got made in 2009 that was when the Nickelodeon buy out happened.
At least we know we're getting Bebop and Rocksteady.
For those who watched Secret of the Ooze at the theaters, we were expecting Bebop and Rocksteady but we got this:

Is there an explanation to this?
Andrew the Black Nerd, aka the most entertaining TMNT fan personality around, shares this thoughts on the trailer

(fwiw I dug it too, looks better than the first one in many ways)

They know because they're us now. They're no longer trying to pander to us, they are us, and they're pandering to themselves.
Watched the first one a couple months ago on Netflix. Are we really supposed to believe all their ninja knowledge came from one book Splinter found? How stupid is that? At least the original movie had a plausible reason (sorta).
....
Actually doesn't look bad :O
I'm down.
In for Amell
