i don't think it's the idea of bat armour itself making people laugh, it's the fact that it looks goofy as fuck in that poster. think it's in part due to photoshopping fucking with the perspective around the mask. doesn't look right. looks alright in the trailers tho

I think just based on her look that she is really great, but I have no idea how I will feel until after I see the movie. If the movie sucks and the writing is bad, then obviously who cares about any of it, but I don't think her physical appearance is wrong.

No. Sometimes people legitimately don't like things. That bat armor is ridiculous looking in that universe and setting.
Amazons are supposed to be great warriors. She not just lacking muscle, she is even a bit thin for regular standards. But I guess it comes down again to the general audience not caring for a strong woman that looks like she can fight, but a pretty one, which is a damn shame.

The armour itself is great, it's just a weird picture IMO. It's less 'cool character looking at something outside of the poster' like WW and more 'guy doesn't know his picture is being taken'. It looks like someone snapped a shot of him waiting in line.

First thing that came to mind for Bats.
You don't see people crying about bias when Cap's first Avengers costume frequently comes up in similar threads. The gaf response to BvS has been more negative than what I've seen elsewhere though.
