Is Birdie's ex shoulder punishable?

I couldn't punish it with Nash's b.mk on block, always rather just not press anything now since you already know they got another online special ex shoulder waiting.

Also Chun's v-trigger is nasty. That shit lasts forever and you can link into so much damage. The overhead is especially disgusting.

I think i just found some legit dirty stuff with necalli.

Hurts so much being stuck Xmas shopping right now. And then later tonight, I'm going out for the Jets game. Really want to mess with Gief, too. Keep those impressions coming. How's that instant air 360 working for people?

Is there any way for me to go into training mode WITHOUT automatically looking for a match? I want to practice with the chars I've never played in peace for a few minutes.

Compared to last night I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually want less matches. I'm on PC.

Sim is so sick, short slide xx vt is amazing. Also in the corner he can juggle air ex flame after ground one, or reset with chp into meaty for stun setup.

2k lp but my rank is stuck at like 1400 or something. Wat.

I just got killed by this Chun. whew

I need to upload this L. He did some shit I didn't even think would combo outside of V-Trigger. $5 it gets nerfed lol

Yeah Chun is real gross. I keep being surprised when a new beta comes around and she doesn't end up nerfed more.

Her b.hp was completely disgusting before they made it a crush counter though and it's still kind of ridiculous.

The more I play this game the more crush counter feels like a mechanic they use to nerf certain counterhit buttons so they can nerf them without having to change their normal properties.

I can't find my friends via the rival search. Do j need PS+ for this? All other modes work fine.

good job capcom you created an environment where if anyone sees any other character doing something that isn't absolutely garbage, they expect it to get nerfed

Uggggghhh, three unplayably laggy matches in a row. Quite obviously shitheads with poor wifi who intentionally play like this too. Doing all kind of teleport gimmicks. >=|

This game is just too simple, there is no substance behind any of these characters.

I've played with Laura for two hours and I feel like I know nearly everything. There is no longevity for this game if they don't drastically change these mechanics.

The visual appeal is definitely there but SF5 feels like some party-game. Tournaments will be mostly counter.pick fests, because good players can learn quickly how to play many of the characters.

Undefeated in the beta?

It's not a question of being undefeated; there is simply a lack of substance in these mechanics. Very little variety in combos and it feels like everything is spoon-fed to players. I'm still discovering new things in SF4 after several years of playing.

I don't want to put SF5 down. The game is pretty fun to play but I don't see any reason why I would really invest 1000+ hours into this like I have with SF4.

What's the best frame traps? I'd like to know some counterhit setups that lead into a good mixup. Lots of people mashing jabs.

You're so good, man. I'm impressed!

Sim seems like absolute ass.

I disagree. I don't think he's amazing but he does a fine job of shutting down pressure and he has a boatload of good AA tools. I think he's just really hard to use like he always has been.

e: and I don't think his CA is bad. Just like Yoga Inferno it has some decent mixup potential.
