I got excited when I saw this tweet, but what it actually says is everyone except F.A.N.G will be available after the next maintenance.

Which is still good since I can check out Bison again, but was hoping F.A.N.G would make it.
 
Ended the day with 2665 LP, not bad for my skill level I guess. I'm hooked, can't wait for the final release and I really hope they buff Ryu a bit more.
 
So is the extended white screen after the versus screen the difference between PC and PS4 load times? The few times I played another person on PC it didn't seem to happen.
 
No Bison all day makes me sad.

Struggling with Sim and Zangief all day. But I do think I like the way they are designed here.

Random laggy connections teleporting people around are the worst. Ya go for some well timed oki on your screen and get scooped up by a throw instead.
 
Well, I had fun with the beta. Laura is really fun to use. Considering I play Sean in 3rd Strike and some Abel in 4, she will fit in just fine. Nash & Ryu were pretty fun to use. If I played anyone here on GAF on Steam, ggs.

Maybe communicating with server.

I remember MGSV's load times were so much better offline.
 
I really hate how they got rid of close normals. Chun Li looks stupid when doing a S.Lk right in front of someone.

Also are Zangief Command throws not invincible? I've been hit out and even throw when doing them on wake up.
 
Didn't get to play a single match but mad training time with vega. Love how he plays. Learned some good shit. Can't wait to use a fucking stick too.

Bison is a monster in this build, got to play him on Tuesday in the mini test. Psycho Inferno is a command move now. He can cancel off his crouch medium now. His V-skill can even parry and reflect normals.
 
its so fun logging in to see none of my combos work anymore and none of the characters i care about are even in this build... oh and 10 HOUR DOWNTIME?! but i did get to see starwars ep7 in imax :0

Gief command throws have never been invincible. Just very fast, at least in SFIV with startup of 2 frames.

In SFV none of the Gief command throws have invincibility, not even EX. They are also a lot slower with startup at around 5 frames. Which means go ham on him when he is on wakeup.
 
This is more of the O'Malley that interests me, not the one that's haphazardly slugging the other two in a way to put himself ahead. This is where he's strong.
