This is where Sanders always loses me. He can't get any of this shit done and he knows it

But i love the pressure it puts on the establishment and brings these issues to the forefront of voters minds.

Bernie has been the best thing to happen to pushing liberal ideas into the mainstream of the party in a long time.

You can say that about all of the candidates. To be fair Sanders always states that this is a grassroots movement. He states it is even more important to elect the right candidates in the House than the White House. Hence his "We need a revolution!" tagline.

Exhibit A: "$12 per hour", Hillary.

The problem is that those issues are scary and no one wants to think about them

Wait...what the fuck just happened? Did she just get back from the bathroom?

Not to hijack this thread with this topic, but why is it scary? It's that our ideas about labor are being challenged. Why not question the idea of labor itself? Why do we have a have/have not social game about jobs and wellbeing? The have nots are made in this model; poverty is ascription in the developed world.

We act as if poverty is an innate feature of the universe. Pardon my language, but fuck off with people who think that way.

Oh I agree. But when the question is literally "how would you make this difficult thing happen" and the answer is "I would just make all of these great things happen"...

This is more of the O'Malley that interests me, not the one that's haphazardly slugging the other two in a way to put himself ahead. This is where he's strong.

This is where I'm at with some of the more awesome ideas Bernie puts forward. It'd be great and I agree with a lot of what he wants to do.

Now how will you put it through a Republican held House?

Nahh, I don't think so Snowden. Hillary is clearly speaking as someone with actual experience, which you can't fault the other two for not having, but her answers are definitely more sound and indepth

I mean Bernie on plenty of occasions has admitted most of his plans won't happen without the "revolution."

That's a more tacit admission of the sobering reality than most on either side will offer on what they promise.

Did she just say "Free Community College". IIRC wasn't she against that the previous debate?

Biblical thing mostly---regardless of the fact that we can damn well choose what the definition of broad concepts amounts to without sticking to that slavish dogma.

Bernie has basically stated most of the end-goals of a Sanders presidency can't be done unless people get out and vote for the other branches of government. He has said repeatedly he can't do this alone. This basically means the first 2 years are to maintain the status quo but to do whatever possible with a republican majority.

Seriously. Why does Snowden even pretend to know about foreign affairs when he hasn't worked in that field of the government? I'd be willing to bet even I or you are more qualified to pass judgement on Clinton's and Sanders' policy proposal than ol' Eddie is.

People don't like huge changes, especially when they fundamentally change the way things work. The idea of losing jobs to machines is scary, even if you create a standard income for everyone.

Well, poverty sucks. It just does, I'm a broke ass mid-20's dude in a big city and struggling to pay rent sucks donkeyballs.

I don't think anyone has demonstrated a greater lack of understanding of foreign affairs than Snowden.
