I'm in love. Now lets all relax to the soothing vibes of Poe Dameron singing Star Wars

So what was the state of the governing body? Why is there still a rebellion if the empire is gone? Shouldn't the First Order be an insurgency?
The big issue I have with AOTC is it feels like too many characters end up saying/doing things that the person they're with should be doing instead. Like how Obi-Wan preaches patience and thinking things through to Anakin, yet it's Obi-Wan who recklessly jumps out a window after a droid while Anakin goes off to get the Jetsons car. Or Padme being the one who resists falling for Anakin when Anakin should be the one resisting because he's the one who's forbidden to actually fall in love.

So Jar-Jar is totally Snoke now right?
Yeah the 3D in Force Awakens is bad, don't get it twisted
It doesn't fall into the terrible darken everything post convert hole, but it's not good
I was so confused as to why they were named The Resistance. Makes it sound like they're still fighting the empire when they're really just a military. So what was the state of the governing body? Why is there still a rebellion if the empire is gone? Shouldn't the First Order be an insurgency?
The pictures of Snoke from the art book make me think he really needed to be done with practical effects.

I like this design more than the final (the one on the left). And the description, which imo doesn't really suit what they ended up with. The pictures of Snoke from the art book make me think he really needed to be done with practical effects.

The IMAX I saw was pretty good. Especially the flying sections and the dog fights.
The movie should've ended with Rey arriving to meet Luke, only to find him having a conversation with Captain Kirk.
SURPRISE.
So Jar-Jar is totally Snoke now right?
Did you get the one scene where the Star Destroyer is flying at your face lol
Really night and day with the Prequels. Everyone involved in TFA seems like they had a blast and are loving it. Everything for the prequels felt like they didn't.Now lets all relax to the soothing vibes of Poe Dameron singing Star Wars

I CANT STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND IT

I'd love for Hayden Christensen to appear as a Force Ghost to Rey or Kylo in Episode VIII just to piss off the prequel haters. Rian Johnson is a fan of the prequels after all.
What was the Republic fleet doing? Shouldn't THEY be the Resistance to the First Order?
In the art-of book for TFA there is actually art depicting this. It's an idea they toyed with earlier on that could still be reused in the future.
Anakin's ghost was constantly shifting between the light and the dark. At one moment looking like Anakin (PT Anakin rather than Sebastian Anakin) before what looked like metal and wire crept across his face and suddenly taking on the visage of Vader. He exists as both simultaneously.
Real neat idea and I'm for it.
Do you have ANY fun?Finn/Poe grosses me out.

YEAH YEAH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
SABOTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE
*ACTION SETPIECE*
I CANT STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND IT
I never ever get that vibe from Driver though.
Snoke should have just been hidden. There is no real reason to show him as basically Thanos 2.0, professional throne-warmer.
It would have been more menacing

After Mon Mothma formed the New Republic and they signed the Galactic Concordance with what was left of the Empire, they reduced the size of their military by 90%. The Republic didn't want another galactic civil war.

Interesting. Where does that info come from?
Driver is a pretty reserved guy. He's been through a bit more in his life than your average hollywood dude.
Crack ships are fun for about two seconds. This is coming from a Yuru Yuri fan.Do you have ANY fun?
The Republic fleet was at the planet that got blown to bits
Mixture of the novel Aftermath and the visual dictionary for the film.
The entire fleet was in that one system? And at the planets that blown up? In the entire galaxy?
I mean, Star Trek does the stupid stuff two where the entire fleet is either destroyed or not available, but it doesn't make it any less stupid.
Confession.
I like every star wars movies, I don't even get the hate for the prequels - nor do I care about the hate. To me, star wars is star wars. It can't be bad, its just one of those things I enjoy no matter what.
Is Earth even a thing in Star Wars
People like the prequels?
What are you all doing
This is madness

For those upset over the "Plot holes" of TFA needs to be reminded of what a plot hole is.
A good example of a plot hole is how Anakin became a force ghost.
We're told that Yoda has made contact with Qui-Gon in Episode III about a way to communicate post-death. It's heavily implied that this is an ability that needs to be taught. Obviously Obi-wan learned this, and somehow Yoda picked this up, too.
The Plot hole comes from how Vader learned how to do this. Either he discovered it himself, or was taught by someone else (Sheev is the only real option here). And if Sheev taught it, then obviously Sheev knows it.
Either way, it's left wide open, and sort of contradicts itself.
THAT is a plot hole.

Having said that, I know some movies are better than others, but still, I just take all of them for what they are and get lost in them. They're fun and adventurous.

It's a pretty jarring one considering lore establishes Sith as not even believing in an afterlife. For those upset over the "Plot holes" of TFA needs to be reminded of what a plot hole is.
