Add on the price of Rising Tide to that total and make your decision from there. Beyond Earth vanilla just isn't a significant enough departure to make it unique from Civ V, and in many ways takes several steps back. I have yet to touch Rising Tide, but fans seem to insist that you'd need it before Beyond Earth is worth playing over V.
 
I wish there were bundles that sold some of the popular games with the lesser known games. It would be a great way to showcase the lesser known titles.

I have been really enjoying watching Giant Bomb East play through it. It's a great game. Most of the complaints I have heard are about the dialogue, apparently it's cringe-worthy teen speak written by somebody older. I'm old myself though, so that hasn't bothered me. All kids sound like that to me.

I tried it out a couple of weeks ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it until I got to Blighttown. I pushed onwards to the bottom of all those rickety shack things, and now I'm wading around in a lake of poison water. I just can't deal with it any more. This shit stopped being fun hours ago and now just feels like it's deliberately trying my patience.

Dark Souls isn't any less dark than Demon's, maybe even more, so if you found that off-putting in Demon's then it pains me to say I wouldn't suggest playing Dark expecting it to be more cheery and colorful.

As such, Wind Waker HD is the way to go, especially if you like lighthearted games with great visuals.

Or if that's too colorful for you, DA:I (at least I assume that's what you meant instead of O?) strikes the best balance. On the other hand, it has by far the weakest gameplay of all three.

XvT is okish. Coop campaigns are fantastic if you have somebody to play with, but otherwise you can ignore it.

Here's a funny story.

When I was a kid I owned XvT. I didn't have internet until I was 16, but I owned XvT when I was 11. For 5 years I played that game (with Balance of Power of course) never once going online.

...so weird.

I loved it though.
 
Waiting to see if/when AC: Rogue and FC4 join the sale.

Have so far bought:

Disney Racing 2 Pack, Split/Second and Pure (I had S/S on PS3 and liked it a lot, and I think it was missing from Steam at one point).

5 copies of Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015 which I keep gifting to friends.

Pretty underwhelmed by the sale so far.
 
I'm thinking of:
-Undertale
-Upgrading from DkS2 to SotFS for $12 (I never played original yet since I didn't finish DkS1)
-Life is Strange

So far, my wallet is safe. Unless these are the sales for the whole winter.

- Split/Second (just upgraded my GPU to a used GTX 670 so looking to give some racing games a go)

- Wolfenstein: The New Order (can finally play this with it too)

- Telltale's Game of Thrones

- The Force Unleashed 1 & 2
 
I've owned Skyrim for a while and put over 100 hours into it and had a great time. I only played vanilla never any expansions.

Is it worth to to spend $9.99 during sale to get Legendary Edition with Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire included?

I guess it would give me another copy of Skyrim but buying Dawngaurd and Dragonbron alone is already $10 so I guess it's better to get Legendary Edition? What do you think is extra content worth 10 bucks?

Relevant facts:
I got bored and gave up halfway through Final Fantasy X HD,
I loved Crisis Core: FFVII so much that after I finished it I immediately replayed it.

Edit: Or maybe Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn? I play lots of World of Warcraft, but almost 100% as a solo player.

I finished Dawnguard and liked it a good bit; it seemed pretty long for a DLC. I haven't started Dragonborn yet, but I understand it is both larger and better than Dawnguard. Hearthfire is just house building.

I hope you have played TIE Fighter or X-wing Alliance since then. If you enjoyed offline XvT that much, you would go crazy with those two.

If you haven't played them, what the fuck are you waiting for? :P
 
I'll just buy DS (has it ever been cheaper, I guess not at it's just 5€ anyway), try Dragon Age (already installed, may as well try it) and then play Zelda (bought it two years ago, played a bit and lost interest unfortunately) and DS.

Yeah, it is definitely worth picking up with Rising Tide. They've added a load of good stuff in, and even the latest couple of patches have expanded it (Black Market, War Points, etc).
 
Broke down at the last minute and bought Ori on Steam and Mass Effect 3 on origin.

Brings my days total to exactly €100 if I include my earlier haul and the €25 I spent on the Nathan Drake Collection earlier today.

Now to invent a machine that adds an extra day to the week and I'll have enough time to finish all of these by next Christmas.

Good problems, good problems.

The boss is right across that pond. You can book it out of there once you're done and pull the lever. There are also items that you can use and wear to help with deal with poison.

Blighttown is just a tiny bit of a massive game. Don't let it be the reason you stop playing.

Many people's game of the year, and well deserved. If you appreciate quality writing and exceptional environmental design then you wouldn't regret this purchase even at full price. 16 free pieces of DLC included, but the two expansions are separate (second hasn't been released yet).

Starting to feel like a puzzle it self, to try and fit the games I want into my 27 euro budget. Mad Max is quite high on the list, since I do damn love those openworld games.
