I've never played a civilization game before? go for V or the space one?
go for V for now, only be sure to buy complete version, because expansions are pricey if bought separately and you wanna have those.

It's a shame that Tales of Zestiria is only 33% off. I would have picked it up for $24.99, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger at $33.49. I hear that 60fps fix is pretty legit.
Heh, this is why Steam sales have lost their magic for me:

I also have the normal version of Civ V. :([/QUOTE]
you don't have the best game on that list, just pointing out

Cities Skylines is great. My favorite city builder.
*buys 2 games that have no discount*
Uh I think you're doing the Steam sale wrong.
Seriously though, can't go wrong with those, DD is going to awesome next month.
60 fps fix is legit.
Especially when combined with 4xSGSSAA (which is enough to murder GTX970 at times, word of warning).
The IQ is just... unbeatable.
Silent Hill Homecoming is only $10. I've been curious to try it for a while, loved Silent Hill 2, but I'm loathe to give Konami any money after what they've done to the series. Does anyone think the game is worth $10?
I do, I just don't have the Complete Edition. I have the original game and separate DLC.you don't have the best game on that list, just pointing out
Well yes.So this:
Is wrong?

City Skylines is great and they are adding more to it regularly. Very addictive and easy to sink lots of time into.Tempted by City Skylines and Tell Tale game of thrones series. Opinions?
So do preorders count towards getting sale cards? Where can I see how much I've already spent? Wasn't that always on the checkout/cart page (edit: found it)? Is this the laziest big sale Valve has ever done?

I have to highly recommend Infested Planet @ $4.94

So it's safe to pull the trigger on the list of games I have added to my cart without worrying if it will be reduced further?
Looking at
- Split/Second (just upgraded my GPU to a used GTX 670 so looking to give some racing games a go)
- Wolfenstein: The New Order (can finally play this with it too)
- Telltale's Game of Thrones
- The Force Unleashed 1 & 2
Mmmm... Should i?

I'm thinking of buying gifts to bunch of friends and was wondering: Do I have to buy and gift each game seperately or can I buy all the games at once and just gift each person their game?

I thought it made a game crash for many people, and caused other problems too. At least I remember this from that fix discussion thread.
I don't want to sound like a hater -- I admit I didn't give the game as much of a chance as it probably deserves -- but coming off of Civilization IV, I found V extremely disappointing. Granted, I'm talking vanilla Civ V, and knowing previous entries, I'm positive that has something to do with it.
0 crashes during my playthrough (52 hours)
There was one story cutscene that required going back to 30 fps, has been fixed since.
The game is also overly focused on combat. The combat to be fair isn't bad, with a very Zelda-esque system, being able to lock-onto enemies and circle and roll-dodge from them, but the weapons are notably unbalanced with some being far better than others. Also while technically the 'best' combat system in the series (and they try to rationalize it with the fact Alex is an ex-soldier), the series was never really about the combat, making it feel like the developers missed the point.
Cuban Legend, you and myself so far. Still one short.

As someone who loved the Telltale Walking Dead games, how much would I enjoy The Wolf Among Us and/or Tales from the Borderlands? Is one better than the other or are both good?
Cities Skylines is great. My favorite city builder.
Skylines is probably great. I hated the TT GoT game. All the choices lead to nothing (I know that all the TT games do this, but in the GoT game it's too obvious)

if you like city builders then you cant go wrong with Cities Skylines at all. It's a solid city builder and there are a ton of mods on the workshop for it. It is absolutely the successor to the Sim City series.
If you want the whole thing the game on Greenmangaming is the same price as team but with the code: XMAS20-PERGMG-SVINGS it brings it to under 10 bucks. Also the DLC is 6 bucks on amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015RMHO18/?tag=neogaf0e-20 if you're in the US.
Cities Skylines is one of the best games of the year and supported by a phenomenal business model.
Just a heads up, Cities Skylines is a few dollars cheaper on GMG when you apply their 20% off coupon.
What about the expansion packs for EU4? I currently only have the standard game, are any/all of them worthwhile? Because while on sale, there's still a lot of them...
