Bought. What about Hitman GO? That any good?
I'm still thinking about it!
My haul so far:
- Broken Sword V: The Serpent's Curse
- Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary
- Legend of Kay
Haven't really paid attention to a lot of the other sales this year so maybe that's why I find this Wintersale to be pretty great.![]()
Anyone have experience with Empyrion - Galactic Survival?
it looks like it has everything from survival to building your own spaceship and that is what scares me.
Nuuvem and wasteland 2. Someone help your buddy prinny make this happen. What vpn do i use? Flyvpb got the brazil vpn locked behind premium
I alway's enjoy reading these kind of recommendations and discovering new games. It's one of the main-reasons why I keep reading this thread.I'll be posting some more niche recommendations like this, hope some find it useful.
Souls PvP is so janky. I won but man its always a let down.
Is Satellite Reign good for 10$?
So, any arcade racers you guys recommend?
It's a very silly JRPG. I had a lot of fun with it, just don't expect anything deep (or with high production values). Is Fairy Fencer F any good? I'm in the mood of playing some silly JRPG.
I'm going to go from older games to newer games I've decided, and to give my opinions on games others might not recommend/heard of.

How Sunless See play alike? kinda hard to imagine it from store page videos.
So...
How's Dungeon of the Endless?
And which Ys game should I start with? Ys Origins?
Is Binary Domain worth $3.99?
help me out pls.
I believe it's quite understandable why might exist such discrepancy among the opinions of this game. Binary Domain is an interesting game not olnly from the different type of enemies you are used to shoot but also for the combination of action, humour and storytelling. The Story kept me interested until the very end.If you were one of those players that would get bored for the constant shooting then in my case, I just found new ways to make it more fun. By shooting the robots in head they will turn against each other. If you add that with shooting others in the feet, forcing them to crawl then you have an interesting combination of events to watch. The city is filled with amazing little details, something you might miss if you are just rushing from point A to point B. But you shouldn't. The bright lights in the city at night are something your eyes will be pleased to see and the visuals are quite good too.
The characters are very distinctive from each other putting Big Bo among the favourites. There's rivalry, sarcasm, humour and even... romance. There are a few plot twists here and there to make the story more compelling and interesting which pleased me until the very end. During the game you are able to talk to your team mates using your own voice (which I didn't because I do not have a Microphone on my PC yet) or simply by using the controller. By doing so, you will offer tactical advice to them but also if they request healing or suggest a new tactic you are free to agree or disagree with them.
It might not be a title that many people have the chance to play it, and those that had it share different opinions about the game, however I found to be a nice shooting adventure from start to finish. There's nothing over the top or extremely remarkable but not all games require to be such experience. Some, like Binary Domain just want to tell a story while mixing a bit of storytelling and bullets, lot's of them, in fact.
There might be more cut scenes that one person who is used to play FPS and TPS would find but to me this was never a problem, in fact, I believe it was balanced between having a lot of things to point and shoot during tense moments, and then, a little bit of story, controversy or plot twist via cut scenes. I like to have both of these in my games but again, many may find it tiresome if all you want is too shoot some robots in their shiny metal ***.
In the end I think it's important to reflect if we are not going too far with our discoveries in advanced robotic technology. I know that it is the year of 2080 and the world most progress but, at what cost..? Paraphrasing Albert Einstein "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction." In Binary Domain, that day may have happened already...
How much is that in maple leaves?
It's a lot like the PvE, in the sense that it'll eventually "click" with you after you play enough of it.
Make an invasion-focused character and start messing with people, or just watch videos of people creatively trolling on Youtube. You'll fall in love eventually.
What do you guys think, will the trading card prices go up just before the sale ends because everyone wants to complete their badges?

I'm going to plug Grim Dawn for those who enjoy ARPG hack-and-slash games like Diablo. It's currently 40% off, bringing it to $14.99. Several of its developers are the same people who worked on Titan Quest if anyone is familiar with that also great ARPG (which is $4 for the game and its expansion - pick this up too!). It's still in early access but the devs are aiming to be content complete in the next build release (which should be 1-3 months). Despite that I've already invested hundreds of hours into it and could invest hundreds more.

So far they've always gone down because demand was much lower than supply and everyone was dumping their cards during the last hours.
I think it greatly depends on how attached you were to dailies/flash deals.
I find it somewhat relaxing to not feel compelled to check Steam every 8 hours.
The actual deals are in quite a few cases much better than I expected (e.g. PoE 60% off, which I'll continue to post) and there are lots of games at the cheapest price they've ever been, so I don't think anyone can make a conclusive argument that it's objecively a bad sale.
Undertale will surely be cheaper at some point in the future, but it's well worth that amount.
As for whether this is a good sale, if there's stuff you want to pick up at good prices, then it's a good sale. Much of the "Steam sales used to be so much better, they're shit now" narrative is from people (like myself) who have already spent thousands in years past and can't look past the fact that there are plenty of people coming into this fresh who will be amazed at the discounts.
I guess it's not a bad sale, even if most of my wish list isn't discounted a lot, but it's not an interesting or fun sale. Steam Sales were so loved because they were events where everyone came together every 8/12/24 hours in excitement over the new deals. It's just not the same. I personally will spend much much less. In past sales I easily spent 100, in the autumn sale I spent nothing and I'm already done after spending 8 on this one.
It's really fun. I've put way too many hours into the different builds over the months.I'm going to plug Grim Dawn for those who enjoy ARPG hack-and-slash games like Diablo. It plays like a VN with resource-managing sailing?
You use up food and fuel while piloting your ship around the world map, sea battles are kinda real time, you need to keep the sea-beast in your targeting area and click on the fire button (which has a cd/aim speed for each weapon).
When you finally reach a port you'll get a text box with some flavour text and some choices, some will be story other choices will give you items or cost you something.
You can upgrade your ship and weapons and whatnot and it plays better than i'm making it sound.
Burnout Paradise is my favorite arcade racer so that's an easy recommendation to make, especially if you missed it in bundles. It's only $5 now.
Look forward to Deus Ex GO and Final Fantasy GOFantastic.
Square Enix is on fire with their last two established IP re-imaginings on mobile. They completely understand the strengths of the platform.
So...
How's Dungeon of the Endless?
Sounds intriguing, will keep this on tab!
I'm thinking about buying either Talos Principle or Metro Redux.
Hmm.
Also, I feel I have to comment about DX:IW. Despite hearing very lacklustre stuff about it, I just want to experience it for myself. I loved Deus Ex 1 and HR.
is this a good steam sale? This is actually my first one so I have nothing to reference it to.
It's fantastic and probably my favourite controller ever.Is the steam controller any good? Looks awfully inconvenient (too fat, and those thouch pads don't look like they can be used as a D pad).
Interested in Split/Second bbut the 30 FPS thing bugs me a bit.

Wasn't laggy but guy was able to backstab from the front. Don't see how this remotely fun for both players. Mainly the guy being BS from front lol.
But I just smashed attack and won.
Played undertale for about an hour today...sure is a charming game!
