Ahh fuck yeah that looks good. Only real complaint is I'd like to see them lean in to a higher collar design. That might look terrible moving around in live action though.

Costuming did as well as possible with the material they were given.

Really wish they would have cast someone with sharper features, though. Cumberbatch's rounded, cherubic face is a clear mismatch for Strange's chiseled, professorly look.

So...wait. Is Ejiofor still attached to this? What is he playing?

Baron Mordo. He was spotted on set in the green getup

But I don't think Mordo is a full on villain in this. Maybe he's more complicated than that in the movie or this will be his villain origin.

Probably turns to Mads' side at the end.

Having 2 villain give me hope that at least one of them will stay around for more movies. But there's little chance that both villain will stick around.

He goes by a fake name throughout the film. At the end his real name is revealed to be... Doom. Or he takes the name on, since it's so absurd.

Thus we have him established as a powerful sorcerer before he even dons the mask or interfaces with the FF, a refreshing take on the character vs his previous movie incarnations.

I bet they're holding on to including the reveal or not based on how negotiations with Fox go, like how they always had Spider Man plans ready to go should the rights become available.

Yeah!!!

Like being excited for room temp water and rice cakes

and some skittles

Carols movie could be good if they use it as an opportunity to introduce, brand, jessica drew, a more faithful Kree/Mar Veil, some Inhumans , Wendell Vaughn (yeah i said it), Quartermain and keep it simple. She needs to go from airforce to shield security at nasa, to meeting mar veil, getting a squad and stopping a kree sentry. Fill in blanks Mar Veil dies , can't fuck it up.

Mads doesn't strike me as the type of actor to do franchise films that require him to stick around and reprise roles. He will be the big bad here and that will probably end his role in the series with Mordo and Dormammu in future installments.

How do we even know there will be a sequel? Ant-Mans sequel wasn't confirmed until after it made money.

Probably because this movie is going to make money lol

So basically cover the turd with roses? But Wendell and jessica suck in their own way. At least Wendell has god costumes.

Read the article. It's literally the only thing Cucumbermatch talks about.
I’m still in the infancy of learning all that,” Cumberbatch tells EW. “It was like, okay, I’ve got to keep throwing these poses, these spells, these rune-casting things, everything he does physically. I’m thinking, there’s going to be a huge amount of speculation and intrigue over the positioning of that finger as opposed to it being there, or there. And I’m still working on that. We haven’t played any of those scenes yet. I felt really self-conscious. But, then, by the end, it was great. It’s like anything, you just have to experiment.”

"But who is Rachel McAdams playing? That’s a question which has occupied a lot of comic fans ever since it was announced that the star of The Notebook and Spotlight had been cast in the film, and is one we can now answer. Well, sort of.

As is the case with Mikkelsen’s character, the Marvel producers are not releasing the name of the person portrayed by McAdams. But they are happy to give up a little information about the nature of the role.

“Rachel McAdams plays a fellow surgeon that has a history with Strange and is his sort of lynchpin to his old life, once he steps into he role of a sorcerer,” says Kevin Feige, the producer of Doctor Strange and president of Marvel Studios. “She is someone he connects with at the beginning, and reconnects with, and helps anchor his humanity.”

“Rachel McAdams is sort of [Doctor Strange’s] contemporary in the modern-day New York world, before and after he goes on this crazy journey,” elaborates Doctor Strange executive producer Stephen Broussard. “So, she sees him before, she sees him after. She’s kind of this audience point of view.”

Might McAdams’ character also be a love interest for Strange? Let’s see what Cumberbatch has to say on the matter. “I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say what the interest is,” says the actor. “But if I hit on her more than the Ancient One, put it like that.”"

Can't wait!

Hopefully they don't hold back on being super trippy. I want this to be the ultimate psychedelic Marvel film.

they don't have to be heroes in Carols movie just part of her team so that she can stay in the airforce/nasa/sword world and have people around her. Then we can skip the stint in the newspaper world and get right to Capt Mar Veil mentoring her after they fuck up and turn her into a kree weapon. No need for Spider Woman or Quasar, both Vaughn and Drew worked for Shield or Sword.

So fellow surgeon means NOT Night Nurse?

his face needs more style, it's a bit blah
wtf is going with the belts. he can levitate but he can't pull his pants up?

That's a very comic-booky costume but they made it look damn good.

Loving all the detail on it.

More details on who Rachel McAdams will play:

So no Night Nurse...
