Probably, that's usually how their ARG stuff works, otherwise some mad genius on the internet will just solve the whole thing on day 1.

It is incredibly unlikely that this was a mistake, it was intentionally placed in the image

but still stay sceptical, it doesn't automatically confirm hl3's existence. Valve have put lambda easter eggs in things before, but not at the same time as an ARG

SOP-TAS, entering system 10-536-B. The two outer planets are gas giants - as expected. The third planet though seems oddly shaped, like a giant white lump. Altering trajectory for fly-by.
