Steam Winter Sale starts on December 19th

Back 4 Blood is $2.99 but I think I would rather spend that $2.99 on 400 shares of Ubisoft stock after playing it for like 10 mins on gamepass at launch

With both Back 4 Blood and World War Z for $13 you can't go wrong. Both games are worth the prices IMO.

My store and wishlist has finally loaded... I dunno man, I feel like the winter sale used to hit hard and my cart was so fucking full

yeah they brought that back at the Summer Sale this year IIRC after users have been complaining how the sales the last few years aren't as good as they used to be
Just took a look and I pretty much have everything interesting there, lol.

I think this sale is going to be catching up on some DLCs for bunch of games vs getting new stuff.

Wew! Souldiers is sold for 59 cents on CDkeys.
It's a great metroidvania brought down by being way too difficult. Got the best pixel art (and music!) since Capcom's best efforts on the 16bits and arcades.

Foretales for 59 cents too! Card game with a storyline. I'll gift a couple of copies of this and Souldiers.

do you have a list of best ones? i think the game is total shit. i am against buying dlc but the gf loves the game. it was on my most played games list this year on steam :messenger_tears_of_joy:

been doing reddit dives but i need some inside info haha
Itll ultimately depend on which animals and community zoos/items shell want to access. Thing is most older packs have just extra subspecies of animals that are already present.
Heres a small overview of whats included in each

Id certainly avoid the Deluxe pack (unless needed as a dependency) and most of the older ones. The packs kind of used to suck until the Wetlands/Twilight (id start with those, along with the ones ive mentioned before) era when theyve started to be good.

Already have Grim Dawn on EGS but double dipped on it for the Deck.

Was about to buy RE4: Gold Edition at £24, but its 8 quid cheaper on CDKeys lol.

so if i buy the dlc 20 pieces inc the base game i pay 80
if i get all the dlc loose i pay 86

need a blops 6 sale...
BO6 is on sale for 20% off ($52.49), the cheapest I've seen it.
I spent the past few days playing the free trial currently going on and had a lot of fun.... BUT, the game crashed soooooo many times with the infamous DirectX error and if you look on the steam forums or reddit you'll see many people complaining about the same error.
Would you guys buy a game on sale if it was a lot of fun but it's known to crash a lot and who knows when/if the devs will fix it?

Considering getting this because so many people have raved about it this year. Can anyone vouch for the PC version?
I can, it's fantastic. I've got 45 hours in the game.

Wat, weird, first time I've heard about this.

Been playing it for 614 hours via PC GamePass and had about two crashes, lol.

Sorry, you've been playing Black Ops 6 11 hours a day every day since release?
Ah, no, you're right, I didn't. It says "Call of Duty" in my Gamepass launcher, not "BLOPS6".., so I was inaccurate. I moved COD from Steam to Gamepass - 614 hours ago. So it includes a some MW3 as well.

Wanted to buy Assassins creed odyssey ultimate in the fall but for got to buy it. It was 14.99. Now it's 29.99…
ultimate isnt worth it for those games. neither is deluxe. gold is the one you want imo unless you want to rely on those boosts. not that it makes it better since it's $20 (usd).

Only Halo Infinite campaign for me. Cant believe its all time low price is £16.49, would have thought it'd be £8 considering the prices MCC and Gears 5 drop to but hey ho.

Sparking Zero I was hoping would dip to £39.99 but no dice. I'll wait until the new year, got too much to play as is.

I think I'm going to give Marvel vs Capcom Infinite a try at last.
I'm a big fan of the MvC franchise and worst case it's only the price of a meal.
Time to see what it's about!

You happy Gabe?

I do not have time for these games.

Got me a boomer shooter treasure. A game with the option of a semi automatic nuke is a game worth 10 dollars.

I guess I should just buy Sekiro since it's never going down at this point 😭

Anyone find a good deal that might be a bit buried?

I looked for the price of Plague tale Requiem as I would imagine the price would be low now and maybe a buy, I don't recall putting it on wishlist so I just search for it

I already have it...

WIth that realization that I probably have so many games I don't even remember buying and still not installed, I backed the fuck out of this sales

RoboCop is $15 at GMG and everyone should buy it. I just grabbed it last week and it's fucking sweet. Huge step up from Terminator, which I thought was way over rated. Does that game get good after like 4 hours or something? I keep pushing and it keeps sucking. But RoboCop is great. It's like slow Doom in the best way.

Probably gonna pick up Vessel of Hatred unless anyone can think of a good reason not to....

GoW:R doesn't feel new enough to constitute $47 fucking .99 on sale. $25-$30 we could talk. It's damaged goods afterall.

Thinking about God of war Ragnarök, Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden west. Didn't play much of any of them on PS5 but got my new laptop and not liking India Jones much. Kinda getting back into destiny so guess wouldn't be too smart to buy them and not play them but that's what steam sales are for...

Some of my favorite in the genre, in no particular order:

One or all of these should be on a pretty steep sale when it starts

EDIT: that's in addition to Grim Dawn of course, which is fantastic.

I actually prefer the original Torchlight even if the dungeon design is simplistic a la the original Diablo. T2's classes just never clicked with me.

My potential cart:

(Yes, I had Blue Revolver in my cart during the autumn sale and didn't pull the trigger)

Update: I'm having a good time with the game and just finished the story mode.
Sure it's not the best in the series but it's nowhere near as bad as I expected.
I recommend buying at the deep 80% discount if anyone has been on the fence.
