Steam Winter Sale starts on December 19th

pretty mediocre sale, most of the stuff I wanted is higher priced than they were during Summer/Autumn sales, no worries, I have a huge backlog and will gladly wait till the Summer Sale 2025

I will give it to WB and EA though, almost every game in their line-up is insanely discounted and looks like Bandai Namco is totally consumed by greed after ER - no discounts on any Souls game, Konami also has given no fucks to MGSVPP, these titles used to be 50-75% off now they're never on sale

Truly a Steam player. She only buy games to increase her backlog instead of playing them.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
GMG has a Square Enix sale happening (when you log in), tons of lowest ever prices

Kingdom Hearts masterpiece collection: $54
Final Fantasy XVI Complete: $43
Life is Strange Double Exposure: $29

tons more

Meh, ive loaded up my wallet with 300 thinking ill get to buy a lot of sweet games only to end up with just Final Fantasy 16 (-25%), Sniper Ghost Warrio Contracts 2 (-90%) and AWAKEN Astral Blade (-15%)

Sorry Gabe, i know its my bad, but the Steam sales have gotten bad to the point that i wish i could convert my steam wallet to some gacha pulls instead.

Last sale/year for the Steam girl and her cat FYI

always chasing the next thrill
RoboCop is $15 at GMG and everyone should buy it. I just grabbed it last week and it's fucking sweet. Huge step up from Terminator, which I thought was way over rated. Does that game get good after like 4 hours or something? I keep pushing and it keeps sucking. But RoboCop is great. It's like slow Doom in the best way.

Probably gonna pick up Vessel of Hatred unless anyone can think of a good reason not to....

GoW:R doesn't feel new enough to constitute $47 fucking .99 on sale. $25-$30 we could talk. It's damaged goods afterall.
Imma wait until it’s a dollar

Didn't buy anything from Autumn Sale but I may have spent a bit too much in this sales. I probably (and hope for my wallet) won't buy a game at least for a long while :messenger_mr_smith_who_are_you_going_to_call:

  2. GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink
  3. Between Horizons
  4. METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1
  5. King Arthur: Legion IX
  6. Sun Haven
  7. What Remains of Edith Finch
  8. Just A To the Moon Series Beach Episode
  9. Realm of Ink
  10. Tomba! Special Edition
  11. TUNIC
  12. STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
  13. The Thaumaturge

I'm having a tough time figuring out whether Pathfinder: WoTR is my jam from reviews. The game specifically gets praise for it's deep character creation and faithfulness to DnD but everything about the gameplay and story sounds concerning (pre buffing, cc immune enemies, etc.)

Devil May Cry HD Collection is an insult, you should refund that.

Homestly iys worth buying a month of Prime for a buck and grab all the free games. I literally grabbed about 40 games the other day for free, including stuff like Mafia Definitive Edition, Space Hulk Deathwing, Scorn, Predator Hunting Grounds, Outer Worlds, and a few other named games.

I also spent about £80 on a bunch of games the last couple of days, and none of then on Steam. You know Steam needs to get with the times when even Ubisoft Connect is offering the same games cheaper.

If there's one game I'd say everyone needs to check out/try this sale then it's the following one:

It's basically xcom X shadowrun and it's absolutely brilliant.

Yes it's early access, but it's in its final phases of early access, there's a ton of content already and they've said this will be the last sale.

Anyone play this? Is it good? Is it $36 good?

10% is a crap discount but it looks good.

It's amazing. Easily my GOTY of 2024 and it's not even 1.0 yet.

Made a thread here:

Also if any of you are into roguelite first person shenigans then give Mortal Sin a look. I'm giving it some more time in the oven myself (only because I have plenty of other things to play) but from what I've played so far it's such a good time:

I'm pretty sure the screenshots on Steam are outdated as, despite it still having a very strong and stylized art style, the main dev did clean up a lot of the more garish elements hehe.

Note that this will most likely get you Ubi store key. If you want Steam, much the same like with EA or Take2, have to buy on the actual Steam store.

I tried this earlier and got a code somewhere to get an even bigger discount. I tried it again just now and I can't find the code anywhere. Is this the lowest the complete edition of XVI goes for atm?

Well there is a first time for everything and you are probably the first person i know that like valhalla more than odissey :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

I am not a Valhalla defender by the way, I think both games are bad Assassins Creed games, I hate particularly the facial animations, they completely ruin for me most of the game because it's difficult to take character seriously when they move and act so cartoonish, but yeah I enjoyed much more Valhalla, I think the tone of the game and the combat was more satisfying

I think they both suck compared to origins and i don't like classic ac games so turning them into open world action rpg was a plus for me, even if they are mediocre action rpgs.

(Still, 7\10 games at the very best).

I thought valhalla combat was a step back (from an already pretty meh combat system) and tame, heroic vikings were an absolute joke to me if you know how real vikings acted back in the days, i bailed out after the 3 or 4th region to free.
