Steam Winter Sale starts on December 19th

$2.69 for The Stick of Truth + The Fractured but Whole? That is a ridiculous price. Amazing games for anyone who is a fan of South Park.

Some of my favorite in the genre, in no particular order:

One or all of these should be on a pretty steep sale when it starts

EDIT: that's in addition to Grim Dawn of course, which is fantastic.

Also Warhammer 40K : Inquisitor : Martyr is a pretty fun sci-fi take on the ARPG genre albeit with a non-zero amount of jank. Great presentation though; it's actually the game that got me into the tabletop version.

I've heard that Stick of Truth is better than Fractured but Whole, i've only play Stick of Truth. Is Fractured but Whole worth it?

I love both games. The combat is different in Fractured but whole. It's more grid, movement and strategy based where as Stick of Truth is just your typical JRPG battle system. The stories in each game are basically a push. They're both hilarious. I think I like the battle system in the 2nd game a bit more.

Edit: never mind. wrong warhammer game

Man the site hasn't been this bad in years. Clicking on a game even throws me back to the main page and the main page sometimes looks like there's no sale going on.

I guess I'll watch A christmas story until they fix it.

seems they relisted Rocksmith 2014 Remastered, for 3 euro

edit: refunded this crap doesnt even launch, already broken.

I think there is even an issue with their API as the deal sites are very slow to update their deals too. Feels like a DDoS attack if I'm being honest

Imagine doing system administration for the Steam servers and your collegues are counting the dollars the company leaves on the table every f'en second you haven't solved the problem, yet.

Wtf happened, was there a price mistake or something that caused the servers to tumble?

If you want to see if a game is on sale, you can get to the page directly through a google search.

But if you use Steams search bar, it wont work.

i am trying to buy the fucking planet zoo dlc for my gf
stop hammering the fucking site you idiots

Back 4 Blood is $2.99 but I think I would rather spend that $2.99 on 400 shares of Ubisoft stock after playing it for like 10 mins on gamepass at launch

B4B landed in a good place... eventually, but it's still not at the top of my recs for multiplayer survival shooters. Darktide's my favorite right now - Better environments, fun abilities, and 40k's funnier than B4B's tryharding.

I dont think youll find those cheaper outside of steam in this case, when i was buying them the key resellers had them all sold out and mini dlcs like this are very rarely on sale outside of steam and if they are theyre still more expensive than steam, but maybe its different now.

You really shouldnt buy them all though, theres like 3/4 that are actually worth it. Aquatic and Arctic especially.
