But. Yeah, it did just that. Then I restarted and it worked just fine. Updating normally.

It doesn't work at all in some Telltale games, like The Wolf Among Us. On Windows 10 at least.
I got a refund for darkest dungeon and it took less than 1 day to get it approved. Took 2-3 days to get the funds though, it was pending.
I'm going with "the garbage that masquerades as an OS called OSX fucked shit up again for no good reason" for 500.

Though, in your case it seems to be the case of a game just having a slow drop rate.
I think it has to do with the having to confirm if you want to open that app, because it didn't pop up when I reinstalled, then did when I restarted. It is an absolute mess. Only real trouble it's given me Steam wise outside of this, though, has been with Space Chem because of the Mono.net framework. I'm just glad it isn't my main means for games by any means.
Been looking for a new stealth title, by the way. Been looking between Master Spy, Volume, Republique, maybe Invisible Inc, as well. You're the stealth guy here. Aid my decision.

not played but heard it's more a puzzle game than a stealth game
played part of the first episode on someone's tablet - it was okay but not very engaging
loved it. It's turn based stealth, and the procedural generation can sometimes shaft you, but still, great game

-Not spending at least 5 bucks will stuck you in a limited crippled account (since April).
-Not activating Mobile Guard will result in the items being held hostages for 24 hours or 3 days.
- Gifts become tradable only after 30 days.
- Using new PC or new browser will give a 7 day chained hands not allowing you to trade or use Steam Market.
-Cancelling the trade (since December) will result in handicapping you by not lettting you trade with anyone until the cooldown of the 7 days.
What are the other free sentences that Valve grants as welcome gifts when you decide to create a steam account that I am not aware of (that I need to avoid by any means ofc)?

Outerra 2015 retrospective
Outerra/Anteworld is darn ambitious and the great thing is, they already have an incredible "tech-demo" so it's no vaporware. This has seriously potential to be a humongous "sandbox" for all kinds of things. FlightSim, MilitarySim, City Builder, WorldBuilder, heck even interplanetary WorldBuilder!

Picked up South Park SOT a few days ago and have been playing it today.
Never laughed so hard at a game before, it's hilarious. The gameplay reminds me of Child of Light, a sort of easy going RPG. It's probably a little too simple at the minute, but the story and atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Because Thief II is still the best damn stealth game ever made.

Ha, I have not, but I was making a special exclusion for the direct sequel to the game in question. Was this wrong? Should I skip the first game?

Thief isn't bad at all and still worth playing, but it has a lot of rough edges.
I'd definitely play it, since they do form a coherent trilogy, but you did ask for the best game for 1.74

I'm curious about SOT too, but how heavy is the game with references to the tv show? I haven't watched SP in like a decade, and I'm thinking so much will fly over my head.

VERY heavy, but a huge portion are from the classic era. The newer topical themes don't come up quite as much.

Grabbed Audiosurf 2. I think that's all I really wanted this sale. Like, I would buy Witcher 3, but I don't think my computer can run it (very well at least). Save that for another time. Same deal with a few other games. Other things I was more on the fence about.
BS2 is the best BioShockthe hell was that last boss in bioshock
ending is short but I have enough of this game

There are alot of references but I'd say its still quite self-contained and written in a way that doesn't exclude the non-TV show watchers
I'd definitely recommend it from what I've played so far. It's a fun romp
