My first experience with Samurai Champloo was as a DVD blind buy back in the days when Geneon and SunCoast were still things. I hadn't heard of it nor seen it at the time. I saw "From the director of Cowboy Bebop" on a sticker on the front of the first volume's case whilst browsing and bought it right then and there. Best blind buy I've made, I can confidently report.

Remember like two months ago when Shikamaru and Kakashi were fighting Hidan and Kakuzu and it had beautiful animation.

Well here we are with the same show.
 
Uhhhh, what the fuck is happening right now? Man, Naruto Shippudden is a torture to watch, safe for the occasional good fight scene.
 
That was great.

Now I don't think I want to wait for Toonami to go through the whole thing. Might just watch it on Netflix or whatever.

I give you my blessing to watch it on Netflix and rewatch it on Toonami again.

This is my third watch of Champloo.
