Amazing run.

No kid has ever beaten this game legit. I don't believe it. Receipts.

I did! I could never beat Ninja Gaiden and lots of other games but really the only horrific part of that game is the speederbike stuff. I eventually just got some paper and wrote down which way to go. Once you can get past that level without dying the rest of the game is easy by comparison.

he's half Polish, half Mexican. throws a lot of people heh. I think he may even be better at Polish than Spanish.

and yeah he's awesome.

Ah! So there's a bit of justification to my thinking and I'm not just an ignorant white devil. Great to know, thanks.

DKC will always have a special place in my heart, first game i've ever played.

I will never forget that feel when i heard this game music for the first time. I even conected my SNES to my dad's Hi cut amplifier. I was in heaven.

It was AMAZING, and still is.

YES!

DKC1 and DKC2 have GOAT soundtracks, absolutely incredible what David Wise composed here.

Why is he humping that swordfish?

YAS. I remember when i discovered this glitch and none of my friends could believe it until i show them.....

Nostalgia bombs all around.

The Battleblock Theater Insane any% co-op run was hilarious. As was the Transformers Devastation Prime difficulty one handed run. The Kingdom Hearts Disney singalong part was great as was a couple of the tricks pulled off there (One at Ansem was EPIC).

The Ori race was a nailbiter at the end.

seriously this marathon has been an absolute joy to watch.

I'll check them out. Thanks.

Is there a way to watch yesterdays Super Metroid 2girls1cup, i mean, 2players1control?

My computer fucked up and i'm still fixing it and missed that run.

That was a tight estimate, would have been close even without the slight chokes.
Couch wasn't helping either lol. "Don't die!" "I knew it"

I really like DKC3's soundtrack as well--by Eveline Fischer, not Wise, but still very good.

dat bass
No talking about DKC soundtracks would be complete without a mention that GBA DKC3 had a new soundtrack by David Wise that played more to the GBAs cart space by using a lot of samples.

Now on to the best platformer ever made with the best soundtrack ever made. :P

Yeah it was definitely good but not as good as DKC1 and DKC2 imo.

I'd rate it:

DKC2 > DKC1 > DKC3

I'd really love to see a Donkey Kong Country 3 100% speedrun. I know the game isn't as well liked as 1 & 2, but I've always had a soft spot for it yet I never could quite figure out all of the secrets of the game on my own, though I didn't try super hard. The game always just seemed like there was so much more to it than just running through levels until you reach the end... Like, so many nooks & crannies on the map that look like you could maybe reach them somehow but I never did.

Yeah DKC2 is the real deal, it is known (first game I saved up to). Seeing them back to back, DKC1 feels like a prototype.
