Apologies if this is the wrong thread to ask this.

In the event that this never comes to current consoles, how much would a desktop that could run this at 60 FPS cost me?

I had a great time playing through this on 360, and I'd love to revisit it, but those last-gen versions were such a mess, I can't go back.

You can build a PC for ~$600 that generally matches or exceeds PS4/XBO performance in every measurable metric.

There are no ingame AO? Strange..

I have an HBAO+ guide ready for the OT.

In my experience with SLI, you generally use bits from games using a similar engine.

If there is no default SLI bit, then I'd recommendation looking into RE HD, RE4, RE5, RE6, DR2, etc.

None of those work properly. You get <50% usage across both cards and less performance than a single card. Still trying to find working bits.

Has this been confirmed from the leak? Perhaps there is a day one patch that fixes SLI.

SLI has scaled pretty well on MT Framework from what I remember.

I'll need to use Nvidia Inspector for that, right? I've never used it before.

I made the guide go step by step on acquiring to changing each setting. If you struggle following that guide, then I don't know what to tell you.

Thanks! This and SGSSAA bits (maybe from RE5-6) and i'm ready to play.

I have emails out on that.

Keep trying random bits then.

I remember when Dark Souls II initially released there was no available bit and I found a perfect one by trying random games.
I found two that worked, but one broke AO, the other worked perfectly. Spread it around to others in the OT.

I'd recommend against putting your own music because half the fun is listening to the (what I remember) great OST. I'm only changing the title song because you have to.

It's a good OST, but I still think I'll swap out a few. But for those playing for the first time, I'd listen keep what's there first.

Beyond the boring title screen song, you can mod that out.

I keep seeing ENB mentioned in here and other PC game threads...what is it and how would I get it to work?

I messed around with some SweetFX stuff for Witcher 3 when it came out but I don't think that's the same thing.

ENBSeries is 3d graphic modification for games. It work by modifying render functions calls of the games and applying additional effects.

Available effects are SSAO, SSIL, Depth Of Field, Lens FX, Bloom, HDR, Tone Mapping, Sharpening, Sun Rays, Shadows, Detailed Shadows, Reflection and others in various versions of them.

It's kind of like SweetFX in the install method. Just drop the files in the main folder with the exe.

I'm just using Audacity. Import the song, set to 48000 khz, split to mono, mirror the left and right tracks for back left, back right, and combine them for center / 5.1, then export as an ogg.
Thanks for your help. Sadly I am a complete noob when it comes to audio editing. I think I figured out the first steps ("split to mono" = Track > Stereo to Mono, right? <_<), but I'm not sure how to do the mirroring and combining. Do you think you could tell me, where in the menu/options you do that? (You can pretend you're talking to a baby, it's OK. <_<)

Edit: my track seems to be already in stereo btw.

I'll try do a quick walk through.

Edit: Actually, I just found a way easier/better way to do this.

Make sure you have this middle setting applied already.

Split stereo to mono.

File, export audio.

Save as type: Ogg vorbis
Name your file: *filename*.sngw.

You can adjust quality settings at this point by pressing options in the lower right corner. An ogg quality 5 is about the same as a ~128kbps MP3.

Hit save.

You'll come to this screen:

Set channels to 6.

I believe the layout is Left, Right, Center, Subwoofer, Left surround, Right surround.

As a result, this is the connection needed for the left speaker, the right speaker, and the final result.

Left

Right

Final

At that point you can just hit okay, and the song should work with full surround support.

This game is pretty great. I need my friends to get it just so I can use their pawns though. Right now you can't connect to the servers (for obvious reasons) so I'm just waiting until friday to transfer my save + get real pawns.

One question for those who have played it though, can you get more than 3 abilities for your bow when you go magic archer? I have 4 core abilities I want to use but unfortunately I can only equip 3.

Amazing, thank you!

What is the purpose of that weird extension? It's what the game expects I guess?

Yeah, the game uses Ogg files with an sngw extension. It might be that they built additional functionality into the ogg format (I saw that the original sngw file had tags for looping points which I don't know that Ogg supports by default) but doing it this way works.

Is there anything that can be done about the game's draw distances? Like any tweaks to the scripts or something? They seem extremely short, and a number of monsters and objects pop up pretty often.

Weird, did you have to hex edit it? It just worked when I was testing it.

Edit: for posterities sake, proof I own the game.

I was looking for bits that worked without too many visual problems, in looking for Drgon's Dogma Online ones I cam across a post that had made some by combining ArmA 3 bits with Dragon Age ones to get a better result. Haven't finished testing.

Feed it... Pizza?

I've been naming characters after food I'm currently eating or last ate. Baked Ziti for the main and Pizza for the pawn.
