That turned out to be a whole drama thing cause I was actually with someone at the time and this accidental date girl was CONVINCED that I loved her even though I didn't give her any indication of that fact so she tried to break me and my girlfriend up.

not saying you're wrong but I'd probably start with a concerned "so how are you doing?" to get the conversation starting without any short cuts. but maybe that's the weird way to do it, what you said could definitely make sense in some cases. marrec needs to specify if she's potential dating material or like..80 though. or if she's married herself.

I know for some people its the profession itself they find attractive. Like being in a position of power or making tons of money. For me its purely aesthetic. I just like the way certain uniforms look. I also have a thing for tattoos so I like tattoo artists but if they didnt have tattoos I wouldnt care.
