This article really illustrates just how damn interesting things are starting to get.

Look, I really don't wanna come off like some fanatic 08 Ron Paul supporter, I understand the mountain of reasons why it's not likely at all, but it really seems like there's real, legit, momentum for Sanders.

A lot of really interesting stuff is happening and he's definitely exceeding everyones expectations. He's starting to lead polls against Clinton and Trump, and his campaign has broken the fundraising record for most contributions at this point in a presidential campaign, surpassing 2.5 million donations. To quote a Time Magazine article, "To put that number in context, Barack Obama's historic 2008 campaign managed to break just one million contributions. Sanders literally has twice what Obama had. Not only that, but Sanders reached two million faster than President Obama reached one."

That's some real grassroots support there.

We eventually hit a point where we realized Trump is at the very least, a real possibility. When do we do the same for Bernie?

Lots of points that make sense here, but I'll believe it when the millennials who tweet about him actually come out and vote on election day.

At this point, I'm cool with Sanders, Carson, or (ugh) Rubio, but if Bernie gets it so much the better!

I don't know if I believe them even if I want to believe. I am personally gonna wait and see before I celebrate. People really shouldn't be making assertions about the future. Especially not ones that sound improbable.

Point 2 is a little hand-wavey if it thinks the self attributed socialist label is not going to hurt by pointing at two pre-Cold War Presidents.

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
At this point, I'm cool with Sanders, Carson, or (ugh) Rubio, but if Bernie gets it so much the better!

Ben "the pyramids were used for grain storage" Carson?
Ben "I totally tried to murder my friend, believe me" Carson?

Your words, not mine. If I voted on personalities, I'd vote for Jeb!. Only a fool votes on personality and not issues.

If you're voting for personalities you'd vote for the candidate with the least personality of them all? You wouldn't vote Bernie? Bernie has the best personality of them all. Sincere, passionate, consistent, resilient and fierce. None of the other candidates have all of those traits.

I don't agree with the prediction, but am fine if that's the outcome. I support Hillary but a Bernie is fine too.

As long as it means the republicans lose the presidency, anyway.

I'm sure there's a bunch of articles on NRO and Breitbart and Hotair and Fox that tell us how Cruz or Trump or Rubio is going to win in a landslide. What are we doing here?

Landslide? Not a chance in hell. I'm even skeptical of him winning the nomination, and that will be hard enough. Then again, such a grandiose idea for a Democratic candidate from HuffPo shouldn't surprise me. It reminds me of the National Review predicting that Romney would run away with the election. Just not realistic.
