Everyone picking all home teams wining. How often does that happen??

Not too often, especially with the 1 seeds. But I hate the Ravens, don't think the Cards have enough D, don't want the Boys to win, and the Jets probably don't have enough offense. And there you go.

Can't really fault Warner entirely for the Saints/Rams game; didn't Hakim fumble away a PR to secure their win?

Resale on the Saints vs Cowboys or Saints vs Giants or Saints vs. Patriots tickets were higher then Saints vs Cardinals playoff tickets. How crazy is that?!

Cards @ Saints - Watch this be a defensive game. :lol

Ravens @ Colts - Peyton just wins (except against the Chargers).

Sunday

Cowboys @ Vikings - Cowboys are a scary good team right now, think the Vikings will miss EJ in the middle.

Jets @ Chargers - Don't know what to make of this game, can't shake the feeling of a possible Chargers let-down. But I doubt it happens.

It's not a given that the Rams would have scored a touchdown. But yeah, that was an awful ending to a great game.

I was shocked at that as well. If we would have beaten the Bucs it would be a different story. It would have been really crazy if we played GB though there fans travel.

Edit: Also worst week for NFL replay ever.

Can't wait for saturday, finally a healthy and rested Saints team will take the field. As good as Warner is in the playoffs in his career, there's one place he just doesn't win in the playoffs.

0-2 all time in the playoffs (Lost at Saints Jan. 2001 and in Super Bowl XXXVI)
God, I can't wait to be there on Saturday.

they don't even travel well at home Cowboy fans usually makeup a large percent of the crowd at their home games. What was last season or the season before that the cards were limiting tickets because too many Dallas fans were filling up the stadium:lol

Steelers' 2010-2011 schedule, assuming the home/away rotation remains the same next season.

Home: BAL, CIN, CLE, NE, NYJ, ATL, CAR, OAK
Away: BAL, CIN, CLE, BUF, MIA, NO, TB, TEN

Heres the Eagles for next year:

Home:
GB
MIN
HOU
IND
ATL

Away:
CHI
DET
JAX
TEN
SF

I am hoping that the Sf is actually in SF. I went last time and I would love to go again. Some really tough games on this list, GB, Min, Ten, IND, and possibly HOU should all be good, and the NFC East is always tough. I wish it was sept. already.

Uhh, this is a playoff thread.

It seems like the Niners always have to go to Philly. And always get killed.

Oh no it is definitely an away game for the Eagles but there is talk about it being in London. I asked my wife but she said no way to going to London if that is where it is.

Son of a bitch! The Niners better not have to do that European bullshit. Losing a home game is such crap.

Bwahahaha!!! This is a Chargers home game, in San Diego, not LA. Sure some of Sanchez's friends & family will show up, but home game for Sanchez?:lol :lol
You're greatly overestimating the Hispanic community in San Diego rooting for Sanchez over the home team.

Bring it Patriots! We will speed up the process to being irrelevant. It will be 1990 all over again!

Already having two solid L's so soon must really suck.

Incorrect. You can't have two losses during an undefeated season.

Please try again.

Speaking of sucking, it must be scary to be a Colts fan before a divisional game knowing they have choked it away so many times before.

I must admit, the whole situation is eerily 2005-like. Except Ben is better than Flacco.
No comparison. Ben ripped every team a new assholes before he was overwhelmed by the pressure in the Superbowl. Flacco has yet to have a great playoff game. Though the Steelers did have their patented fourth quarter collapse (aided greatly by Bettis' generosity), but in the end Ben saved the day as he always seems to do in the big game. Not sure who embarrassed Nick Harper more that week. His wife's case of the stabbies or getting caught by Ben in the open field.

Thinking back on that game, Ben really changed the careers of Bettis and Cowher. If he doesn't make that tackle then Bettis is an all universe choker. And Cowher doesn't get nearly the respect he gets if not for Ben getting hot in the playoffs.

Cards @ Saints Kurt Warner is 9-3 all time in the playoffs with 2 of those losses coming in the Super Bowl. No amount of Drew Brees magic* can overcome that kind of luck. Should still be the most entertaining game of the week regardless.

Ravens @ Colts Could possibly be a redux of the 2006 playoff meeting what with Flacco being injured and Manning downshifting into choke mode** just in time for the playoffs. However, the Ravens have something the Colts don't: a prolific rushing attack.

Sunday

Cowboys @ Vikings The Vikings are just flat out better than the Cowboys.

Jets @ Chargers Jets' D is for real and would probably victimize every QB in the league with five exceptions. Drew Brees and Kurt Warner, who're in the NFC, Ben Roethelisberger, whose team didn't make the playoffs***, and Philip Rivers who they have the misfortune of playing this week. Jets could still pull it out, but Sanchez would have to become Peyton Manning**** Ben Roethelisberger***** Philip Rivers overnight.

*I've born witness to the miracles he's performed; and I have to say, they're far more impressive than than those of "Lord" Ben

**Manning has only played well in one playoff game in his career [2006 AFC Championship] and the Colts still almost lost that game.

***Making fun of the Steelers never gets old.

****Seriously, Manning sucks in the post season

Woman Wearing Romo Shirt Assaulted

Police are investigating a reported assault on a 27-year-old Bethlehem, Pa., woman as she was going to the convenience store Friday night.

The woman, who was wearing a Dallas Cowboys football jersey with quarterback Tony Romo's name and number, said she was approached by a pair of guys in Philadelphia Eagles jersey.

She said one of them yelled, "Hey, Romo," she turned around and she was whacked in the face, receiving a cut from the attack.

Police said they're now looking for the two men wearing the Eagles shirts in connection with the slap attack, although the woman couldn't give them much of a description.

More to add to Philly's classy reputation. They couldn't beat the Cowboys so now they're beating women. God job....

g0est, have you even watched the Colts playoff games since 2006. He was anything but great in his 2006 playoffs games (barring the AFC championship game), while he has good if not great in the losses to the Chargers.

Wearing a Romo shirt, she was most likely looking to score drugs, and it went bad.

The Packers have denied the Bears permission to interview QBs coach Tom Clements for Chicago's offensive coordinator vacancy.
Not a surprise between division rivals. The Bears are suddenly running low on OC candidates, having lost out on Charlie Weis, Jeremy Bates, and now Clements. Clements' return to Green Bay is good news for Aaron Rodgers.

Obvious trolling attempt aside, you conveniently forgot Peyton is one of four quarterbacks in NFL history to pitch a perfect passer rating in a playoff game. Yeah...

In fact, I would say since 2003, Manning has had plenty of good/great games. Just the ones that were bad were very, very bad (both loses to the Patriots in 2003 and 2004). In 2003, the loss to Patriots accounted for all 4 of his interceptions that year, he had 8 TDs and 0 INTs in the two games before that. In 2004, he had 4 TD 0 INT in the first game against the Broncos then threw 2 picks against the Patriots. He was fine in 2005 (even in spite of the INT that should have been counted) against the Steelers, was pretty mediocre throughout the Super Bowl run (except against the Pats) in 2006, and then played two solid games against the Chargers in 2007 (both INTs were unfortunate tipped balls on Wayne and Kenton Keith in great field position, not to mention a wtf fumble by Harrison) and 2008.

Cards @ Saints Wanna see a rematch with the Cowboys.
Ravens @ Colts If Flacco is healthy expect him to actually *gasp* throw the ball.

Jets @ Chargers I don't know why.... WTF!?

Fear of a GAF Planet
Cards @ Saints Sorry Breesus, you were great for my ff team, though! :D
Ravens @ Colts I think Flacco will need more than 4 completions to win this game. Not sure it's possible.

Cowboys @ Vikings This is the game to watch this week. Going to be close, methinks.
or a Cowboys blowout
Jets @ Chargers Sorry Jets, it's ovah.
