Looks great but still prefer Nine.

Phew, Nine is amazing.

Just wish they would FINALLY add Jubei to the roster. Like what's the hold up?!

Weird animations. She also looks a lot older with her cloak removed than with it on. How old is Saya at this point in the story?

It's a shame trailers don't show more neutral game. The fact that she doesn't have a jump is really intriguing.

As much as I am looking forward to Revelator, this is the game I am craving.
Ditto, though a Dizzy reveal could change all that.

ASW knows that he's one of the most desired characters. They're probably saving the best for last.

I've got my fingers crossed for him to debut in Act 3 of the story (Hades' release coincides with Act 2), but I wouldn't be surprised if they held him off till Central Fiction Extend releases on consoles in like a year.

Neat. She's kinda less flashy than I expected her to be though, given she's the imperator and all.
Given that Nine and her (two obvious additions) are now outta the way, this should bring us one step closer to Jubei....right?
They'll probably save him for last, given he's the most wanted character since basically CT lol

the article details didnt really do much for me, but the trailer is so hype. Her exceed accel animation is great, and I love how they gave nods to her being the goddess of death but didnt shove it in your face.

Wish there was some of her projectile mode in the trailer.

She clearly jumps several times during combos in this trailer, so I'd guess that info was wrong. Maybe her jump ability is limited in her stance, or maybe they meant that her jumping ability was limited after floating/air standing.

her single jump is normal, her double jump is float

liked the ingame sprites, not really digging the character illustration thou, not that it really matters, she looks alright gameplay wise, nevertheless, Nine is the highlight of this game P:

I missed so much of the story by not playing Chronophantasma, but they'll probably have a recap for all of that in CF. Character looks super cool, but I'll still stick with Hakumen like I've done since CT.

Maybe after this ASW can finally start working on the GGxBB we've all been waiting for.

Word on the street is that ASW is developing a new fighting game IP. That's probably what we'll see first after Central Fiction wraps up.

and after that I wanna see Persona 5 Arena

Ooh, nice. Wonder if they'll make this one 3D like Xrd seeing as how that turned out super well for them. Though I guess being a new IP means no new version of Battle Fantasia (jk, mostly).

Have they said that Central Fiction is the last installment in the series? Seems like they're wrapping everything up.

Like I said months ago: I can't help but wonder if it somehow ties into the Technos IPs they've bought up in the last few years. Now that their ownership of Double Dragon has been confirmed, I think one of the best ways they could bring back the brand is through a fighting game.

Again, instead of adding tag/team mechanics to GG or BB, they could easily cite Rage of the Dragons as a base to build off of for their own Double Dragon fighter.

Have they said that Central Fiction is the last installment in the series? Seems like they're wrapping everything up.

I believe the word was that this particular overarching story arc is nearing its end, but not that they were completely done with BB, itself.

Has a console release date been announced at all?

This should be the finale to Ragna's story line at least from what we've been told. Last game, Chronophantasma, was the 3/4th point of the story.

Ah, so it's like Kingdom Hearts 3 being the climax of that particular storyline they've built up.

That's what seems to be the vibe.

If nothing else, ASW has no reason to drop what has been such a lucrative franchise for them. If there's a way that they can keep it and GG going, while also promoting a new IP that can join their ranks, I'm sure they'd be very happy.

at this point BB is arc's most popular game. I would expect a BB5, but also expect it to be a reset like xrd was to GG. Which im fine with
as long as Noel is still there

I can't decide whose character looks more broken in term of mecanics , nine or izanami ??

But i can't wait .. i really can't wait

Those skull effects in slow motion ...

I cant even keep track of who the fuck these chracters are anymore.

After platinum was introduced I think I just gave up entirely

That's what seems to be the vibe.

Is not just a vibe, is a fact, this game is the end of the Ragna storyline.

This rumour about ASW doing another fighting games comes from here:

Famitsu moved forward, asking if the company had any plans to create any new fighting games.
Kidooka replied, "we’ve been throwing some ideas around, but nothing is concrete for the moment."

Although there isn't anything solid in the Works just yet (see what I did there?), the company stated that they'll be sure to make a new fighting game that "follows Guilty Gear and BlazBlue," if/when something comes to fruition.

Looks like a project for a distant future in my opinion.

You know your business model is kinda fucked when I look at this and go "damn, it sucks to wait 1.5+ years to finally play the Extend version of this". BBCP was finally the game where I became a BlazBlue fan, but after seeing how anemic the content included in BBCPE was I might as well just wait for BBCFE to be able to play the full game from the get go.

I dunno. There's likely no reason to unveil anything anytime soon, but I wouldn't be surprised if Arc is ready to start talking about their "next project" around the time BBCF gets its console port, and they'll need another new announcement to make sure arcade operators are happy.

If BB is due to get a rest/reset before its next definitive game, then perhaps that will be the time when Arc is ready to promote their newest challenger.

A reset would be immensely upsetting after they finally added the one character I've wanted to play for years. I'd much rather it stay 2D with these low res pixels.

Nine is actually considered low tier by top players. I don't think that'll be true in the long run, but nothing about her is broken, it seems.

Amazing trailer.

Finally in a fighting game!
??

I'm disappointed by the combat design; her rob design was wonderful but the battle outfit doesn't really look good. The dress doesn't match the sleeves; funky shoes, and what not. Quite frankly, the design would have been a lot stronger if they didn't cut off so much fabric.

I agree, she looks a little too silly. I'd rather she look menacing, they ripped her fangs out along with the kimono. Nine has a pandering edge to her, but still looks vicious.

Her main outfit appears to be based on a Shinto Dress. If they made it a full dress, instead of a sexy dress, and perhaps changed the traditional color scheme, it would have been much better.
