Played on Switch 2.
I think it's a great game. I was asking myself why did I buy it when I really got all I could from Hades 1, but seems like the formula is really that addictive.
I think the combat enhancements are worth it, it feels more varied, but I hoenstly don't remmeber 1 that well, I think it has more options in this one.
However, I think the art was a downgrade. While it looks the same the art here is more muddled, and I wasn't sure what was it until the parts where Chronos takes you to the Hades 1 level. It's so much more defined.
Second thing is the structure of the game. While there's more content with two different worlds, I would have liked more to first finish the underworld and then do the surface world with changed up boons. i also think storywise it would make more sense.
Like you kill Chronos and then the timeline gets fucked up and you fight olympians gone bad.
