So i guess cliffy b stole my girl last night...

I laughed

It's funny reading the first part of this thread where there's some great comedy and reminds me of classic gaf, then there's the second part after the bump that's talking about Cliffy being a dirtbag for bringing this up and all the disgust and dogpiling.

Personally I look at this like glancing through a box of photos with your friends and being like "oh shit remember when we did this?", but in public, and with people that aren't your friends.

Still think the scenario is funny though.

Aww, I thought this was the "ride the tricycle" thread but that was American McGee. This one is good, but that one was more hilarious.

Tale as old as time, my friend. There have always been and will always be those "nice guys" who think a girl being pals with him is the same as her being into him. Life may change beyond human comprehension, but thirst never changes.

lol

I know the type; even worse I had a childhood friend who in adulthood would imagine all the girls working at stores or restaurants he frequented were into him. He wouldn't flirt or even chat with them, just claim they made eye contact. It was painful to witness but knew the guy since 4th grade; had to let him go when his first real girlfriend dumped him and he said it was "because I'm too perfect." (Wasn't the only reason to end the friendship, just the hilarious last conversation I had with him.)

Cliffy B be creepin

I have nothing against Cliff, but I've never seen someone bring up something he dislikes as much as he brings up GAF. And he bases his opinion of it on a tiny minority of the userbase.

God damn are you guys catty today.

I'm not a fan of Cliff or his games, but I thought the bump was hilarious. Have none of you calling him "creepy," or a douche never gone through old photos, and have it stir up a memory and be like, "Holy shit, I remember this, let me call up blah blah and show him!" I've looked through old hard drives that had photos from years and years ago, and had an awesome nostalgia trip going through them all.

Part of the fun of shit like this is looking back at what a twat waffle you were and having a laugh about it. The OP of this thread was hilariously bitter over something that didn't happen (Cliff "stealing" HIS girl), and Cliff is taking the piss out of him. Why start attacking the guy for something you are all clearly enjoying reminiscing over. Seems weird to me to be so hostile about a stupid, yet entertaining thread.

Will his next move be to remind the Internet for the 3453494th time that he has a Lamborghini?

He drive the white one that's downtown frequently? I haven't seen the yellow one that used to be out and about in a while.

Navigating Glenwood Ave downtown is super simple so OP has no one to blame but himself. Literally any bar not on Glenwood is one block to the left or right.

My sister would just tell him that this is why you go to Raleigh Times when you go downtown.

Edit: I totally missed that this happened over half a decade ago.

It's not creepy, some of you have bad opinions.

I dunno, I honestly think he had to creep on her on Facebook or something to even find out whether or not she's married now, assuming he was serious about that (unless she was married when OP made his post which... opens up an entirely new line of questions).

Sounds to me like they kept in touch? Not unreasonable really.

I don't know why Cliffy B, or anyone, subjects himself to NeoGAF, or any forum or social media.

The big loop puts life into shitty perspective.

The op almost reads like a novel (or fan fiction) up to the point where they go into the bar, where I would expect to get some more dialogue. And the end I don't get at all.

Seems like a fun thread with the guy tweeting about this all tho.

Also, Fiction has a good point.

You have inside information on dude's inner circle? You are assuming said stranger is someone in his current inner social circle.

Otherwise he likely would have had to troll social media to see what she is up to. Which is downright creepy.

(not that any of this even matters outside the easy laughs)

edit: Lauren says in response to those new tweets that they "vaguely know her" and only references her in past tense.

@therealcliffyb lol NYE forever ago.. silly thread. We vaguely know her, whatever her name is. She tagged along w/ a friend to the party.

Fucks sake why are you purposely playing devils advocate and not paying any attention ha ha. They dont know her and havent kept in touch. Its in the tweets

"Vaguely know" is reason enough to have someone friended on Facebook, which is a guaranteed source of wedding photos for eternity. There's nothing creepy here.
