Also he should start contracting his services for on-stage game demos at press conferences. Nobody else in the entire fucking industry knows how to talk and play a game at the same time.

To be fair, it looks like he is prepping for his PAX South keynote, so he was probably going through old pictures looking for something to use and stumbled upon it, remembered, and found it humorous. Seems logical and would then not really be creepy as some may have implied.

Why would he then post it and provoke GAF while still trying to act like he doesn't care? That is another issue entirely.

I'm not sure about this. What I've always found frustrating about Reddit is how one often has to scroll past whole trees of jokes and memes just to find a serious response to the original post.

Malka had AMA on Kotaku. Malka accused Larry of bribery. Turns out Larry somehow didn't shake Malkas hand and Malka took it personally. It was really embarassing. Hell I may get banned for even bringing it up. Happened last year at some point. It was pathetic. Anyway, I think that was the last time Larry posted on here and I don't blame him.

Specifically with Major Nelson, it should also be noted that NeoGAF doesn't split up its gaming community, so Sony fanboys are watching the same threads as Xbox fanboys and so on. And since the PS4 has sold, what, twice as many units as XB1 now? it's not hard to see which the community will seem to favour.

Some days it's really hard to find anything interesting buried between all of the "Am I the only one" threads, "lazy dev" posts, and "I'm so offended/embarrassed by ______" crap.

The shit to quality ratio on this forum is about 10,000:1 shit:quality. But, that is still better by a factor of 10 for every other enthusiast website on the internet, regardless of subject.

I think hate posts are mostly denial. They are frustrated fans that have obsessive impulses. Normal gameplayers don't really get so hard pressed over what goes on in the industry, nore do they dwell on forums. You can't take people seriously online. We have people post sexual ly explicit remarks against women on twitter.
 
He seems immature; but try to see it from his perspective.. this isn't the first and won't be the last thread full of CliffyB shit talking.

It would be hard for a lot of people to not hold a grudge even if they are the cause of much of the shit flinging; the guy probably has stunted maturity from making it fairly big in gaming at such a young age.
 
His response on Twitter is so insecure and defensive.

Either way it's not worth talking about this guy. He needs a lot of attention and will say and do a lot of things to get it, really.
