Story mode is 4 months after release?

WAT

At least it's free and they are putting more effort into it, seems like.

I thought that they'd be going with the artwork panels like the tutorial showed, so it's a big surprise that it's seemingly going to be MK9/X style instead.

Surprising that it actually looks pretty fleshed out. I was expecting motion comics at best.

On one hand it sucks it's not coming out with the game

On the other hand I am glad it looks like they are putting real effort into it instead of those shitty ass stills from the tutorial

Said this before, If they wanted to make a story mode similar to MK9/10 they need more development time...not shock it's 4 months after the game releases..

Ehhhhh, this sort of thing really ought to be included at release for a fully priced game.

Imagine if they did this sort of thing for a game like Halo or Starcraft.

You know if the story mode is still talked about 6 months after the game's release, I'll eat karasu~
And holy crap were those the 2 soldiers from Dictator's Alpha 2 stage in the trailer?

Bipson going all Complete Global Saturation lol.

Yes! A proper MK-style story mode? Amazing.

And I'm glad it's coming out later, I'd rather they concentrate on getting the balance/online right first, then concentrate on story mode.
Plus it means I can just focus on online and then this will a nice bonus in summer.

I got chills when they showed Guile!
He is one of the few characters I didn't want to be drastically redesigned.

I'll eat my crow, even if we're not getting that cinematic story mode Day 1. Glad to see it's not just the character stories. (Still not a fan of that artwork though).
