Seems kinda pointless when you can unlock the characters by playing the game. Just a lazy way out.
Season Pass just became a little more tempting. I still think I'm gonna hold off because I'll just be hustlin' in this game all day when it drops.
wondering what this theme looks like anybody purchased even tho i think i will unlock all via fight money

The way I see it, as someone with the goal to be good at this game, if I can't earn the stuff by playing the game then I don't deserve to have it.

Supporting the game/developers and future content by purchasing with real money is the lazy way? :| Also, some people hate the idea of unlocking stuff with points, dailies or challenges and just want everything to be available immediately when it drops (putting work in your game is not the same as spending time unlocking stuff).

Someone needs to tell Capcom that they should make active background stage premium themes with no logos. Shit would look so hype on the PS4.
I would so buy the NYC stage, or the China stage.

Yep, if they keep it the same as how the beta works you will earn fight money by winning matches. We don't know yet how fast fight money will be earned but there is definitely going to be some sort of grind element which Capcom is still tweaking. It's a balance. Obviously most people would never buy anything with real money if all items could be unlocked in a weeks worth of gaming. Some people will still want everything unlocked immediately and not have to even think about.

Support the devs for starters and some people have jobs and school so their time is already tight. I'll say this unlocking those characters won't be as easy like many think... Expect a thread about many people complaining about how capcom made it damn near impossible. Bookmark this.

I doubt it will be that simple to unlock all 6 characters. They're still trying to make money as well so no way do I see it being that easy. I think it will be possible if you grind like their is no tomorrow. But even for the avid players that are playing 4-5 times a week several hours a day I think it will still take quite a lot of time to unlock just one character let alone all 6.
I plan on buying the season pass because I want to make sure I have every character as soon as possible and don't want to worry about possibly putting in another 100 hours to unlock the latest character.
Nah, I value my time with the game more than the cost of the season pass. This way I can spend my fight money on outfits or just save up for the first year and get everything in s2 as it releases.
How is supporting the dev the lazy way out, I'll be getting it only to support them. I know I can save enough points to unlock the characters myself.
Not really. I can just buy the season pass now and start to save up on fight money for whatever characters that arrive in the future.

Once you activate the NA PS4 key on NA account and download the beta, you can use it with any other accounts on your system. (as long as your NA account was set as primary account)
It's a solid stick. It has Hori parts which is likely different than what you're used to if you've used a stick before, but they have improved and are roughly on par with Sanwa and Seimitsu parts quality.
Although if you prefer either of those or develop a preference they are easy enough to swap out.
Meaning no offence, seeing so many people saying they're buying the season pass to 'support the devs' seems... off. Maybe it's more the way it's being said, I dunno

Yeah... I really hate the regional systems on consoles, we should have moved beyond this.
Not everyone has as much time as everyone else does to pump into the game and we don't know how much the characters will cost or what else can be bought with Fight Money.
For me it'll be wait and see, as I'm planning on playing the crap out of this game, but since we know next to nothing about how it works at this point I think it's too early to just write it off.
Also if local multiplayer and practice mode don't pay out that's likely to drop a lot of people's in game income if they are serious players.

Open the store on your PS4 and go to Street Fighter V. IN the add-ons/extras section there should be an option for the beta.
