when I plug it into the pc, the blue lights go on but there it does not show up under "device and drives". Thats step one of guide and its not working for me.
 
Jesus I just started watching Arturo's stream and FUCK man Dhalsim is nuts! He's definitely been giving me the most trouble so far, but seeing Art play him is horrifying. He can fucking rushdown AHHH.

Chun was always a lot better than people thought, and it wasn't just that 'flying under the radar' nonsense that some are parroting.
 
Playing Rashid while using a stick for the first time. Needless to say I have no idea what I'm doing. The matches have been pretty freaking good so far though, with me on PC and everyone else on PS4 so far. Well, except for someone I just fought from Italy using Cammy. Teleporting all over the place.

Enjoying the beta so far, though I'll be enjoying it way more once I know what I'm doing.

His dashing specials seem to be really strong if you can connect, but i've gotta figure out the best way to use his standard specials. The falcon kick is pretty easy to make sense of, but his whirlwind attacks and his CA you kinda have to lure people into. Or I guess combo into.

Yeah. I've started just quitting out of laggy matches.

What's weird is that the opponent sometimes seems unaffected by the lag. They're doing anti airs and punishes normally while you see them warping at one second intervals. I'm sure I've won a few matches when the opponent lags.
 
Finally started to play Bison online. Not getting absolutely destroyed, but I'm having a ton of trouble being aggressive and finding when to charge between attacks. Keep misjudging it in actual matches due to nerves, but it certainly feels like it takes longer. May drop him until I get a new stick (playing on a PS3 pad right now). Might start goofing off with Laura or Karin.

Yea, I got 3 straight matches where I could not, for the life of me, play the game correctly.
Worst one was against an R Mika. :(
 
I really like the feel of this game. I can't wait till it releases so I can finally get some alone time. Does someone have a good link to moves lists/ combo videos?
 
I've got a question about fighting Dhalsim. When he shoots the yoga flame and then teleports behind you right before the flame hits, how do I block that? Do I just have to recognize the teleport and switch which direction I'm blocking if I see him appear behind me? Seemed almost too fast for me to react to last night and I was getting repeatedly wrecked by Dhalsim players who would abused it.
 
I think I've come to a realization that there's something with shoto characters that puts me in this strange stupid mental block of doing really stupid stuff against them. I think that's the first thing I need to focus on is getting over this mental block.
 
Grapplers give me a lot of problems so far, except maybe Zangief. They gave all of them good normals and specials in exchange for slightly worse command grabs. High level Mika/Birdie/Laura will be insane.

You always have to block against his position, the fireball doesn't matter. The best option against it is to avoid the situation all together, it's tough to block.
 
No idea if I've played any GAF peeps yet. I'm rollin' with DashGigas as my handle online. So far have been all Mika but Sim looks and feels incredible. May give him a try later.
