Edit: yeah it requires you to register a steam account so yeah I would imagine that there is a key inside the box

I just got mine and checked; it's a steam key on the back of the warranty and EULA slip, yes.

Fellow Canadians, if you ever buy a movie from Best Buy make sure you open it right when it arrives at your door, don't be a fool like me and not open it until you decide to watch it over a month later, because if the actual disc is missing e-mail support will just tell you it's been over 30 days and you are SOL....

Good thing phone support actually listened to what I had to say and asked me to describe the box to them so they could send me a return shipping label

It says "trade credit". So if you trade-in a game worth $10 and you are a platinum edge member, you will get +20% to the credit value of the item you traded. That's an extra $2 on you the credit value of the item.

Hmm, Platinum members at EB get 40% Extra Credit towards The Division (and a few others) this weekend. That's actually not that bad. I have it preordered on amazon, but I'll see what I have to trade. Paying nothing is still better than paying a discounted rate.

Man, seeing what the Odin Sphere Special Edition (a PS4 game, to boot) gives you for $99 vs what the Bravely Second one gives you for $110 is pretty insane.

Bravely is basically just buying the game, and a $60 art book.

Steam takes PayPal. It's scary how easy it is to buy with it though, after the first time you just check a box verifying that you live in Canada and you're done.

I just plan to buy this one game, because I've really wanted to play it for a while and just discovered my computer can run it. (Was honestly waiting for a console port, which never happened, and forgot about it for a while.)

Can't agree. I enjoyed yellow, gold, silver, and crystal to much to agree. Also X and Y are pretty much the new Red and Blue. And those games were great. Its ORAS that took a step in the wrong direction.

Yeah basically. I used to sell them at work all the time. Remember don't touch them with your bare fingers or they'll burn out/burst really quickly since they get so fucking hot from the oil on your hands. We used to sell a SHIT load of them before all the puck lighting went to LED. Autoshops sell them sometimes too since cars can use them for interior lighting.

As much as I want to agree, purely out of nostalgic reasons, they really weren't.

They are definitely still my favorite, because I have such fond memories, taking the gameboy + link cable to school every day.

It's the only reason I'm getting the Pokemon n3ds, my inner 9 year old would die if I didn't get that system.
