I spoke too soon, watched Mika's story play-through, it's 3 matches -_-

makes a cameo appearance(In the comic, you don't fight her)

I'm thinking the big things are the challenges they are going to put up,

It's a way of playing the game more I guess

I'm buying this season pass (actually bought it yesterday) and just grinding for next season

There are also daily challenges which should help. How much fight money do you get when you lose?

This is fine for me, I was expecting to pay for all characters but this way, I'll be getting at least two with in game currency.

Yeah, I'm just trying to estimate worst case without the daily challenges right now.
If the daily challenges are big, it won't be that bad, but if they're not big, earning them via wins doesn't seem realistic to me. I guess we'll have to see.

Worst case you lose every match you play and it's $6 a character.
 
Have they ever talked about being able to bet fight money or not? I wonder if that could work or if it would be to exploitable.

Even a tournament mode with a bigger fight money pot would be dope.

Also, did we learn the date when spectator mode would be added to lobbies? I really thought that was going to be there day one.

I really don't expect this game to come out with crazy good reviews---it literally doesn't deserve it when other games actually launch with the full content there on disc and it's fantastic.

It's great stuff is being added in later on, but if you buy it day one to play with multiple friends in a lobby and get hype watching each other... you are going to be really sad. I remember vanilla MvC3 in my circle of friends got a month at most play before we just said fuck it due to the lack of spectator mode.

Annnnd I apparently spoke again to early, Bison's was only 2 matches. rofl.

It's interesting enough I guess. The comic strips give you some insight into how the DLC chars are going to look, I've seen
Juri, Rog, and Ibuki
in Cammy, Bison & Mika's stories so far.
 
My copy arrives tomorrow :)

Still no Fightsick -.- because of some problems on mad catz end.
My brother has my old one. This means i have to play on my ps4 pad :( :( so annoying

Damn this sounds nice. This is shaping up to be the complete online Street Fighter I've always wanted. It just feels right.

If no spectator mode at launch means no spectating at launch, there'd better be simultaneous matches. Really, there should be simultaneous matches in every single fighting game lobby. Namco came correct when they first implemented that in Gundam Extreme Vs.

Played som USFIV last night and I just now realized that I am way better with a controller when I play non charge characters. I almost exclusively play charge characters normally, but I found it pretty interesting. I'm thinking about switching between my stick and controller depending on what character I play. Does anyone else do this?

Yeah this game is going to get a big backlash review wise and it is earning it.

No story, arcade is a joke, no challenge/trials?, no spectator mode, anything else?

Even if I freaking loved the game at its core, which I'm sure a lot of people will, that lack of content and having to wait is just a "so why didn't you delay it?" and in this day and age journalists go in hard on games that pull this crap.

7/10 Metacritic here we come lol. :P

I think Killer Instinct needs to be reviewed again. Driveclub should also be reviewed again. I think games should get two review scores in our age of patches, updates, add ons and expansions.

I doubt that they would allow you to farm it for fight money. You probably only get fight money for the first playthrough or maybe a very small amount on subsequent playthroughs.

Yeah, that wouldn't be surprising, but it is pretty clear why it wasn't delayed (tourney schedule/CPT) not to mention it's an evolving product, aka game as a service. MKX has DLC, but it's not really a service model like this or KI. Sadly, people won't take it all into context.

Hmm, best way to describe them is Juri was rocking her alt 2 with a purple heart eye patch

And Rog was rocking alt 1 but had more gold on the inside part and the sleeves cut off.

Again only saw them briefly, I could be wrong -_- Bad short term memory.

nor should they, no game should get preferential treatment. A review (while i dont use them personally) should tell it like it is

It's coming in march.
I think that Capcom released it early so people get some time before EVO.

Yeah, i'm buying this in March then, i spend most of my time playing player matches with a group of friends, so there's really no point to get this at launch
