Cheese Pasta

Step 1: Boil pasta till cooked.

Step 2: Grate handful of cheddar cheese.

Step 3: Cut a slice of butter and rub it around in a bowl till the bowl is completely covered.

Step 4: Drain pasta then dump in bowl.

Step 5: Dump cheese in bowl.

Step 6: Cover top of the bowl with a plate then shake away

Step 7: Microwave for a minute.

Probably one of the most unhealthy foods ever, but still goddamn delicious.

White rice in some water with furikake is the classic one for me.

If anybody wants to see some crazy-ass struggle foods, watch JK-Meshi.

Where's that picture of the piece of bread with the ice cubes on it?

As far as my real answer goes, some toast and a cup of broth.

1 half cup dry cereal
2.4oz of cheddar cheese
eat.

its not exactly a favorite, or nutritious or comforting or anything other than quick and available.

ElTorro

I wanted to dominate the living room. Then I took an ESRAM in the knee.
Serious answer: when I forgot to buy groceries, one thing that I can always do quickly is hummus or pasta olio e aglio.

I don't have any good contribution myself. My struggle meals are normally just the result of laziness.

I remember a guy posted in a similar thread that his was a pack of Tums. That still gets me cackling.

One box Mac and Chesse (cooked; powder variety)
One can tuna (drained)
One bag frozen broccoli (cooked)

Mix and eat. One full meal for a fat person that can cost as little as $3.

Edit: Cup Top Ramen is good too. Usually the beef or chicken variety. Saltines with Frank's Red Hot is also pretty damn good.

Plain cheese quesadillas with tabasco sauce

Tbh while I've never be that financially well off, I've also never struggled that much financially as I'm lucky.

What's government cheese? I've always heard stories about it but nevet had to experience.

I guess my struggle meal involves ramen and fake fish sticks.

It's basically a brick of processed cheese issued to folks on welfare. I said it mostly as a joke, I think it's an outdated thing at this point? I'm not sure.

Rolled oats with some juice and water in a blender. Oat shake!

Not only incredibly cheap and filling for hours, but also very quickly made when you're hungry but have to get going.

You can also put some yogurt and/or fruit in there.

Rolled oats are very calorie dense but also rich in fiber, so a shake like that really can last six hours or more for me.

White rice with avocado, soy sauce and sushi Mayo mixed in a bowl.

Not particularly healthy, but it's usually amongst my leftovers and quick as.

Potted meat sandwiches, it is America's favorite after all (I don't put lettuce on mine though)

For something more classy, a pot of white rice mixed with a large can of cream of mushroom soup.

Dahl and brown rice. I make a batch once a week and can be completely lazy the rest of the time on dinner.

I'm glad it's actually pretty healthy and a complete meal.
