Sarcasm lol? Evidently that's just how they spell things across the pond (i.e. Bloodbourne, neighbour)

No, that's incorrect here too. Borne is the correct term regarding transmission (of disease, in this case).

But yes, Favourite is the correct spelling here. Obviously.

This, with more generous helpings of butter and cheese and better-quality bread, is delicious.

Mayo and Tomato sandwich with a good helping of salt and pepper.

If that's the struggle then I'm lovin my struggle. Good things abound in a simple life.

Like a dude already said; 2 bacon McDoubles is a hell of a deal! The struggle is real! Enjoy your struggle meal!

Oh ok, thought I had seen people spell it that way.

There is nothing wrong with this picture. These simply sandwich's are a perfect pair for coffee or tea. You can even see the mug in the picture.

You try to serve that to someone in NA and they'll probably knock the plate out of your hand.

I once baked bread using only flour and water. It became a big lump hard as cement, and tasted terrible. Had to survive on that for about a week.
........that can't be healthy.

Any NX info.

I know I'm weird for liking this one.

  • Piece of sliced bread
  • Slice of cheese (doesn't matter what kind)
  • Sliced Pickles

Roll that up and squeeze.

Too be honest, I'd usually just make a grilled cheese instead, but I'm unsure if that is struggle food.

Little bit of butter and grape jam on toast would be my go to for spreadable items on toast.

Rice with butter, salted
Porridge (made with water) and cheap seasonal fruits
potatoes (cooked, mashed), seasoned with buttermilk and sauted onions (already too fancy, but I remember my parents eating that when they emigrated)

Man, I hated being poor. when 25 dollars needs to buy a whole bag of groceries, you learn quick what is low cost and will provide the most bang for buck:

Penne noodles - 99 cents
Raman noodles - 2.00 for 12 pack
Potatoes - 3 bucks for a 5 lb bag when on sale
White bread - 99 cents
Mayo - 1.49 for generic brand
Chicken thighs - for some reason the cheapest meat from the chicken. Can get a frozen 3 lb bag for 4.99
Peanut butter - 2.30 for generic brand
Gallon of generic fruit punch - 99 cents
Cream of mushroom soup - 2 bucks for generic brand
Frozen vegetables - 1.10 a bag when on sale
Processed cheese - 2.80 for 5 lb brick when on sale

That would last for 2 weeks. All sorts of different meals. By the end of the second week we're usually down to just raman and vegetables, peanut butter sandwiches, or penne and cheese.

Sometimes if I want a quick snack I just put some American cheese on a piece of Bologna, squirt some ketchup on it, roll it up into a cigar shape, and scarf it down.

Cool to know I'm not the only one who ate this but it's hardly struggle food.

And you do use powdered sugar yeah?

Shit was delicious. I'd always fix a couple when I was making cinnamon toast.

We never used powdered sugar. It's just the only picture that I could find that didn't look shitty :P

Any of ya'll make donuts using Pillsbury Biscuit Dough (the ones in the tube) and sugar? Like this.

When I'm poor I make Kraft cheese slice sandwiches and read a takeaway menu while I'm eating it. I swear it's like you're actually eating the food off the menu, it's amazing.
