SF tidbit: Vega and Gief fought before. No clear winner. He also has a bunch of different claws in gold and shit. He was trained as a kid in ninjitsu as well, and hunting at the same time. Dunno how that last part works out.

Has anyone made a google doc for scrubs to practice with another? last time I played with gaffers was on Street Fighter 4 Super.
Yep I got this same email over the weekend. Screw that, I only preordered 4 months ago and already took a day off to to play on release. I cancelled my Amazon Order and will just pick up locally so I can get my ass kicked tomorrow instead of Thursday. If I go digital does the game unlock at midnight? If so, that could be the way to go.

Any word on whether or not VPNs will work to unlock early on Steam? I saw that it's releasing at 11 AM in AUS/NZ time (which is incidentally 9 minutes from now).

Got it a couple weeks back. I've gotten used to using it (it's my first ever stick) quicker than I expected. Still have a ways to go of course, but I'm already playing better than I was with pad (which is still sucky!) in MKX and USFIV.

I'm playing on a 360 controller and have the 4 face buttons dedicated to light/med punch/kicks, lb/rb heavy punch/kick, LT/RT All Punch/kick
i can grab (x+a), i can v-skill (y+b) but I cant reliably v trigger with the lb/rb buttons without pressing one or the other slightly first, i can do it maybe 50% of the time first try
Should I rebind my LT/3 punch button to it? I rarely use karins EX qcb+P so I might get away with it

It's my first stick, and I gotta say, I really like it. (Although I need to switch to PS3 settings whenever I need to use the touchpad in a game.)

Pretty sure you can preload on PSN now and you'll have it by Midnight. I'm just gonna stick with Amazon on my end. I can wait till the weekend to play but for those of you who are hyped for midnight, you go on and enjoy yourselves.

Hard to say. One thing you can do is try playing on a keyboard and set up the layout to work kind of like that layout (basically set Up to be on Spacebar) and play around with it. Personally I find it the most fun way to play, don't use any of my other devices anymore. Particularly good for charge characters.
