No other fighting game has had launch issues like this from what I can remember, and they're had 4 betas to fix this shit. I think it's totally justifiable for people to be annoyed.

Yeah, pretty much this. The only slack I can cut them is a little bit for this game being their first venture into a fighting game with console/PC cross play.
But I'm sure the connection issues will be resolved in the near future. The lack of polish and content is what bothers me more.
Doesn't Hell mode only give you a title? I thought Hard Normal and Easy are the ones who give you colors.
Especially since the game is lacking content. It's the 'what were you working on since it's busted?' mentality.

I'm finding matches but it's taking way longer than I thought it would. Usually 5 min or so. I wonder if it's because I'm playing Casual. Maybe more folk are playing Ranked.

The main reason the server thing is unbelievable is all the time they've been Beta testing the game. There's no reason for servers to be this wrecked at launch

At least for Japanese, either method works, editing the engine.ini file as per Rhaknar's link with setting "culture=ja," or binding Windows time and date to the desired language (not the keyboard or IME, oddly enough).I went to control panel, Language, then switched my Time and Date Settings to English and that was enough to change my game from Spanish. Didn't even need to reboot.
One hopes that with the March update that makes this into the real game, Capcom might be bothered to add a Language tab to Steam as advertised...

The launch of Street Fighter 4 was nothing like this. The server issues really pissing me off. Hopefully they don't reset all the records again. Then i'll be really mad.
I said this before release. Without the console version they could've called this Early Acces on Steam and done the full release in march or june. Obviously just a dumb idea, since it's primarly a Playstation product, but that's what the current state of the game is.
Ya..tried this on normal and was breezing through it until 15 where I got completely floored by CPU Laura. Was an odd difficulty spike.
They should've charged Early Access Price then.

Yea... It shouldn't be accepted but it's par for course now. With so many people hammering the servers there were going to be issues. That said it'll even out soon

Nah. It's called be rational and realizing that typically there will be issues with an online game on the first day.
they did. Early Access games are full price. In fact some are MORE than what they will be on release (like Planetary Annihilation initially was)
People dont seem to understand what early access is and just throw the words out there. You are not buying the games cheaper by buying them during early access.

I'm not even going to bother on these colors. I don't have it in me to do Laura's hard mode, and as was said losing at the high twenties takes it out of you. Can't imagine losing even higher than that. Normal mode takes like 10-15 minutes. That's too much time for a chance to get the colors.

Well find out that users who are using Optimus are having issues with FPS. Even if you force the .exe or use the nvidia control panel, the game refuses to use the nvdia gpu.

The PC optimization for this game is laughable. The frame rate slowdowns are truly awful. I have an iMac with a r395m and it should be able to run this game at 1080p even at low setting but no, it forces me to lower it to a blurry mess before it finally allows me to play at a respectable frame rate. Inexcusable.

There are games that charge less during early access aswell by the way, but in general what you see is what you (will) get
Warhammer Eternal Crusade for example is cheaper on EA than it will be at launch.
Recently released Darkest Dungeon on the other hand, is the same price (as most are)

Survival is just terrible. It's the sort of shit you'd find in a F2P game, not a $60 game.
The most famous early access game was Minecraft. It started at $10 and rose in price the closer it got to release.
H1Z1 is $20 right now, the final day before it becomes 2 $20 games.
So yes, there is precedent for games being released early at a lower price than what they charge.
I can understand selling costumes, but not colours that people have been able to mod since the first beta.- Status
