That's exactly what it's like, chess.
My only problem with most tutorials is that they never start out with defense, which is the most important thing in my opinion. I may be in the minority though. But I feel that if you can't defend yourself, then you can't play. All the flashy shit you learn will be completely useless when you can't block basic crossups and overheads.
But I know defense is boring and most people want to immediately jump into kicking ass.

Try using DS4Windows? I have to use it to get it to recognize my dualshock 4.
I hate to be "that guy", but it would be cool if they gave us $50k fight money since the servers are down on launch night

Practicing with Ryu on Bison in the corner. Back hk>st lk> fierce dp>CA is some decent damage at 369. Don't know that it's worth the strict timing to pull off, though. Back hk> cr lp>light tatsu>CA is one point more damage at 370 and the timing seems a lot easier. Still, Ryu is a beast in this game.

It's still installing. The initial install is done to let you play. If you check your downloads under notifications its finishing it up. Game is about 23GB.

That was not me who posted it, but I decided to call the number as well and I got transfered 3 times, had to repeat everything as before(order #, phone #, name and email address) until I got to the right department. Once there, all they did was give me a case # and that was it. No code and no info, just a case #. I posted on the BB forums as well as others and the mods there said that it will be up to 72hrs and if not, message one of them.

For anyone having trouble getting their PS3 sticks to work, get JoyToKey and set it up to mimic the keyboard defaults like this:
My old PS3 TE stick works perfect in this and any other PC game. Also, don't forget to run JoyToKey as admin.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's super dependent on hit confirming a jump in in the corner, or playing with my food on a dizzy. Haven't found much use for back hk other than that. Although it was a curious anti air of a neutral jump on someone I found by accident. Still, to awkward to rely on.

Dhalsim is getting down a bit, feels almost more aerial, but he feels like he has more power to his attacks to move people(?) at the cost of raw ground dominance via mid/high normals + Yoga Fire.
