It's reassuring to know it is happening to just about everyone. Have heard all different types of reasons why too
- All SE are shipped to the store, and the store is shipping them to people
- They are shipped but a glitch in their system today prevents it from updating to show it has shipped
- They are shipped today, but showing that they shipped today instead of tomorrow would break the street date so it can't show it yet
- They don't have enough to fulfill orders
- They are shipping tomorrow and will still somehow manage to make it for release day delivery
At this point I've given up on getting it tomorrow and am just hoping not to get my order cancelled. There are threads all over the official BB forums with people asking about where their game is and if it is still going to ship or what.
As for me, my order confirmation email has a timestamp on it of about 10 minutes before this thread went up here. If that isn't early enough to get my order fulfilled then Best Buy got about 25 of these things.

despite saying this was pretty par for the course with best buy and still getting my things on release day I've only had one game get shipment info this late, and none later so it's just odd. thus I am no longer expecting to get it tomorrow... but that is fine by me as long as I eventually get it a few days isn't a big deal.
About $93 USD, if Google is to be believed. However! That's including a tax we have to pay to import this product from the States. Without it, it comes to 1,479 pesos, which Google tells me, is 80.78 USD. So, basically, were you guys actually able to order it (for a Gaffer's said it doesn't ship to the US directly), since the import tax wouldn't apply, you'd be paying MSRP for it.
This is such a weird decision. No SE for people who walk in?
Heavily supply limited by Nintendo themselves. I doubt each store got very many, so not surprised they only have stock for pre-order.

Whew I beat that by 3 days, this se fiasco has been something else. Nintendo really dropped the ball on this one.
Damn, what burns even more was that the SE has the 3rd chapter for free ;_;
With GC I would've walked away with a steal of a deal...Anyway these go up again when Nintendo sees demand?
MSRP of the SE is the same as 1 full game + 2 DLC routes.
Obviously, the set becomes cheaper if you have GCU or Amazon Prime.
Nintendo SE's typically don't get restocked. Nintendo is deathly afraid of overstock and really don't tend to print more once they release.
That's how that goes. They drop the pending, recharge and send it. Charges sometimes take a day or two to pop onto your card, so you'll see it on there later

I just realized I can't watch for a charge for the FE special edition since best buy forced me to pay via paypal (they wouldn't take my card because it expires in a few months)

in regards to the game though the REP has just said that they do their best to get it there on release date but can't always do it if the manufacture doesn't get it to them early on.

Seems like, to no one's surprise, BB botched this.
Check again. Tracking number for mine just got updated. Apparently it shipped out around 10:48, but didn't update the order page/email.
I'm assuming for legal reasons, they weren't suppose to "ship"/notify you that it shipped until the 19th.

On the plus side, the last time this happened with something I ordered where it was entirely Best Buy's fault, they gave me $10 credit.
I'll happily wait an extra few days if they are going to do that again. And really, I'll be content as long as I get my special edition.

I'm gonna guess someone nabbed it before you did.
I freaked when Fry's showed stock, and double-freaked when the first store I chose became unavailable when I tried ordering.
Switched stores and triple-freaked when I was able to send an order in.
So maybe other people were quicker.

I assume this is about the SE? If so, we've known for months that it's going to be impossible to get. Might as well just pick a normal version and get the DLC. You're really only missing out on a nice box, some decent but not amazing chachkies and early access to Revelation.
I tried for the store nearest me and it failed to process because it said there were none available. Then I tried one a bit further away and got it to go through. So odds are you just weren't quick enough on the draw.
Hopefully I'll get my confirmation email in the morning and be able to pick it up in the evening without issue, or them selling it off to someone else.
I'm sure you'll be able to get Birthright and Conquest for cheaper down the line, but the odds of the SE ever being available again at a reasonable price are probably slim to none.

Xeno was a rare exception. That's literally the only Nintendo SE/LE in years that didn't sell out entirely. That goes to show you how well it sold.
