Just picked up my copy from best buy instore pickup. It had no seran wrap on it and these assholes put a big instore pick on it covering 75 percent of the cover. Scared me to death. Thank God it came off with no residue.

Well I'm pretty bummed. I've been getting getting most of my console games from Amazon for years now and I can't remember them ever missing the release-day shipping pre-order like with this. Guess it's just a messy release.

And it was saying it would delivered be today for months up until this morning. Gut punch yo =[

I changed my shipping speed (to the same speed), I now have a pre-auth on my card but it's still hasn't moved from Processing. It's been around 45 minutes. Is there hope?
 
It really sucks to see so many of you guys having problems. I've had shitty experiences with Best Buy and preordering in the past, but luckily not this time. I make sure even if I'm ordering online to set it to in store pickup, it seems there's less problems that arise that way. (And if there is, there's someone to talk to face to face about it.)
 
I updated my shipping speed around 3 am EST, and it's still preparing for shipping. Hopefully I at least get it by tomorrow, but I'm not confident now.
 
I'm afraid to change any info on my order to be honest. I remember back with the Majora New 3DS', Best Buy started cancelling orders of people who went in and made changes. Thinking back to that fiasco is what made me paranoid about all this in the first place.
 
man I think I wanna drive to Best Buy now, it opens in like 45 min.

but I imagine the line at Frys all ended up migrating there so there'll be a line too lol.

We didn't receive these from our supplier when expected and we currently don't have an update as to when we will be receiving these in.

Went to two Best Buys near me, one had 2 kids lined up for it before opening so they must have been waiting a while. Neither store had anything out. Maybe the second one did but I got there 10 mins after it opened.

Bummer but not that mad about it, used to Nintendo doing this.
 
I ordered mine from Best Buy on November 12th within a minute of it going up for preorder. I was sitting there hitting F5 like a mad person and preordered as fast as I could. I still got the delay email.

Mine just shipped about an hour ago.

BB support makes it sound like everyone should get theirs...
 
Oh, fuck off Amazon.

Pre-ordered my Special Edition on Amazon way back when it first went up for pre-order, had many opportunities to get a pre-order elsewhere but declined since I had the Amazon order, and now Amazon tells me the day of delivery that shipping has been delayed for a month. I highly doubt they'll ever get another one in stock and I'm probably just screwed. Argh. Easily my worst experience with them.
 
Remember Prime members: If you ordered from Amazon and they had guaranteed you Release Day Delivery and missed it, contact them and they'll give you a free month of Prime.
 
Mine started in Kentucky, went to Indiana and now it's in Illinois. Taking it's own damn time on a leisure tour. Why not just ship it DIRECTLY to my state?? Goddamn UPS.

I know, 'at least you're getting it'. But you'd think paying over $90 for the order would inspire a shipping company to get the fucking lead out.
 
Okay, no email yet, but on the order page my Best Buy order currently says "Preparing for Shipping." There was a "processing" before that, right? So this is progress, yeah? My brain is like "wait, it said something different before, yeah", but I obviously can't check what the page used to look like so I wanted to confirm amongst my current paranoia over the whole situation.

Edit: Also, let me say that this has me on edge enough that I keep getting excited when my phone gives me an email sound notification, only to be disappointed when I check and it's not Best Buy about my order.

It was a mess on Best Buy's side.
The eBay listing of aprox. 2k units appeared right around the moment the delay emails started going out.

They then cancelled eBay store pickup orders, but seem to be shipping the rest.
 
I'm a prime member. I preordered. Amazon sent a text saying it will be delivered today. But the link to track the package says it will be delivered Monday.

Fuck, even if I get it today by 8pm I could have already had it by now by preordering at a local store. I'm never using Amazon for release day delivery again.

I'm getting it today. Seems Nintendo screwed up shipping the boxes due to Best Buy also experiencing delays.
 
For those interested I came up empty handed at the following stores:

Target
Best Buy
Wal-Mart
Big K-Mart (they still exist it seems).

I have a copy of Birthright coming from Amazon today so it looks like digital purchases for me.

If anyone finds an extra in the NH area let me know!
 
Slightly upset. Picked up my SE at gamestop and got the last one, box is a bit damaged but I can live with it. What really got to me was that the seal was broken and you can tell via the side of the box it was opened. Asked the cashier why it was like that and he shrugged. At least everything is still inside I guess.

I ordered same time you did. No shipping confirmation for me. Just the delay date for March...
 
If they fuck this up for preorderers we better get compensation on the level of both hard copies of conquest/birthright and enough ecoins for revelations for free.

This is bullshit. I still haven't got this email their twitter account is telling people to expect either.

That's complete bull. Both sides were sealed on mine (from Bestbuy). Jackholes clearly opened yours to look at stuff. Glad you got a copy but Gamestop is garbage for new games IMO.

My Bayonetta 2 shipped from pennsylvania to new jersey (where I live) then to california, then to kansas, then back to nj to be delivered to me 3 days late.
