The new ranking system in Rocket League is balls. Been in elite division for like 100 games now and won like %80 of games played with the majority of wins as MVP and still in the same rank. My buddy got promoted to elite, win like 20 games and lose 2 games and he gets demoted.. shits annoying.

I didn't find it that funny either at first but it's really about the underlying themes for me. there's really some great dialogue in there sometimes. (mostly between the jokes) and when you start to appreciate that it also gets funnier imo because you start to relate more. also the absurdness allows some great ways to be creative for the writers
especially season2 has some great moments. this is probably my fav (kinda spoiler-y)

Yeah I sensed pretty quickly the show is meant to be appreciated on multiple levels.

Feeling pretty fortunate to have been placed in Superstar. While it'd be nice to make the jump into the top division, I just don't see myself having the time for it. Plus I still prefer enjoying Rocket League than getting frustrated with it for the sake of some rank.

Yeah I hear that. Its funny how just a little symbol next to your name can cause so much frustration. I play the majority of my games unranked but its more challenging playing ranked so its the best way to improve your skill IMO.

I'm so hot and cold. Im on fire for a few hours then I just start falling apart and missing everything and hesitating on the aerials too much. I'm happy with the elite ranking but after so many wins and MVP's, I have no idea how I havn't ranked up yet.

Im still only expert level 46. Been playing against so many legends and rocketeers.
