Sounds a little bit sarcastic no?
This was unnecessary.
I saw a Ryu do this with that elbow move he hasThis is the bullshit I just ran into.

Obviously this is an extreme case though. Also, holy shit at Laura's Time Up pose.
What tweet?
Oh my god I can't fight Fang lol holy shit. Don't see them often, didn't know wtf to do.
Trickster, remember to just IGNORE THAT STUPID V-Skill POISON.
I am a FANG player and I can tell you, too many people get frazzled by the poison. It doesn't actually do that much. No hitstun and the poison actually doesn't do much damage.
FANG is based off doing small chunks of damage consistently. so here's my advice ( assuming you're playing Mika)
(i) You can throw him when he's in his command dash.
(ii) If he went for any move that's not the light trap when he's close to you, counter with a command grab immediately.
(iii) Poisoned state as well as the trap vanishes if you successfully hit him once. Seriously, Dhalsim is so good against him for this very reason, every time he tries to lay down a trap, he can just teleport behind him and hit him, removing the trap.
(iv) You can use your EX Peach to hit through the trap.
(v)Try to jump as little as possible.
A bunch of pages back ,someone Tweeted at a Capcom person for better CPU stuff. They said "we hear you, we'll have more news soon/thanks for the feedback" or something of the sort. The original Tweet was talking about having absolutely no VS CPU, so I don't know where Capcom said they'd be adding difficulty modes to this Story mode.
Ohhh ok, yeah I was panicking regarding his v-skill poison and jumping in a lot, which would then get me blown up by his air poison balls.

No, it's the literal truth. So there are lots of situations where you can tell what kind of block you need.
If they're coming at you with a jumping attack you should block high because jumping attacks hit high.
If they're right next to you normally you want to block low since they're in range to hit you low, but there may also be times when they'll try to hit you with a standing overhead (hits high) which must be blocked high.
Typically you won't actually have time to react to the overhead attack quickly enough to change your block from low to high, so you really just have to take a guess and start off blocking right away if you think they'll hit you high.
This also applies to throws. Your opponent might try to throw you on wakeup and you need to tech that throw if you think it's coming.
v-skill poison does like 10 damage? Just ignore it.
what's r mika's best aa option? down mp for the headbutt?

@BurningHector @CassiusGrimaldi Hear you loud and clear! More CPU battles are coming soon, thanks SO much for the support!@StreetFighter @CassiusGrimaldi we need an arcade mode! Training and Survival are fine but I'm craving for some classic CPU.
I use wingless airplane for predictable jumps, and f.HP for a faster reaction.
Yeah, Alucrid already explained it, it is hard to distinguish between sarcasm or normal statements, so I thought he meant it sarcastically.
Thank you for explaining, I'm new to this stuff, and it is good to know when to block low or high.
Makes sense that I always had trouble to block attacks from Chun Li. I always used low block and not high block.
Have they said anything about when we'll be able to just plug in our sticks for PC and it works because holy shit?
sounds good, thanks
so today's the day I get to start playing, got my stick and pc ready. cfn is Tesseract, East coast (Florida) with maxed settings / 60 fps.
see ya online, suckers

And that beat you? lol
40002 every fucking time before a ranked match starts. Fuck!
For a beginner it is best to keep blocking low when your opponent is close since it's a lot easier for them to hit you low and typically they can't combo out of a high hit. So keep getting hit by those high hits occasionally until you feel like you have a sense of when they're coming, then try blocking them. Consistently blocking those high hits from a good player is something only experienced players can do.
It just happened again. Wow, what the fuck is wrong with this shitty server? Long load times, errors, disconnects...I don't think it matters when, it can happen anytime during the whole process of a ranked match xD

A few days ago I couldn't maintain 50 LP... today I broke 1000 without a sweat.
With the replay feature I hope they allow us to share replays with friends further along.
I'm not good enough or ranked high enough to have encountered high level Karins personally, but there are definitely Karin users (seen on youtube) that have great fundamentals that do pretty okay using her without relying on her as you say, "gimmicks".
But I want some points, haven't been playing ranked for a couple of days.Play casual
especially on a character who doesn't have the best normals (hers seem just okay) and only 900 stamina.
I think I'm better at Street Fighter when I drink just a teensy bit

I looked at the colours for Ryu. Meh, not worth the hassle of survival.

No I'm talking about if I'm watching another persons replay, a higher ranked or pro player for instance I can share it along to a friend. What do you mean? Your friends can just go into your profile and watch your replays.

Finally got one, now see me win and the results not be sent.Prepare for the errors then!
I just had a great match against a good R.Mika and it all came down to the last round and it was super close but he/she won. Right after her super I got an error, like wtf. Can't be the other player dc'ing lol
P2W is you pay money to get the result/reward you want, either instantly or faster.
If the DLC shop comes online and you can't spend Fight Money on Colors, given how you have to unlock them (Colors for each individual Costume, not all for a specific character) as well as dumbass AI turning into Cheap Shits 90% in makes even less sense than it does now. It's a tedious, tiresome, frustrating chore. It's just bad design to go from one extreme to the other like, on top of disconnecting making you lose all of your progress.
And why would Capcom allow you such an option, to use fight money to unlock Colors? So you don't spend them on Characters. They want you to spend real money on the stuff they're charging for, so the game's design is going to center around trying to get players to break and spend Fight Money on other things first.
