Can't say about Necalli, since he is not a fun character to play against, but Bison's strength relies on capitalizing on your mistakes. His offense is actually pretty shit if you can block/tech throws well.

He has no overhead, his d+u k move can be anti-aired or dodged, his scissor kick can be a bit of a pain to block against but you can use a light jab if you have a somewhat far reaching one and use V-Reversals.

When he has his V-Triggers, it's mostly shenanigans to be honest. With a bit of experience, you can defend against his crossups and stuff.

tks for the tips man...yeah bison does have some flaws, still trying to figure out Necalli and Vega's main weakness besides being somewhat weak on wake up.

yeah Karin is very straightforward, but still strong. I actually think SFV is pretty close to VF level of balance, nice starting point for Capcom IMO . My top 5 is Chun, Nash, Necali, Vega, and Bison.

quitters stop around 2k, you'll find regular players. Also, even good players lose, 20 win steak and all that is bogus, just restart the game first round if they have 35 streak and can't even block a cross up lol.

Try not to jump. Like ever.

you can hit him low when he's in his command dash,also throw him.

His b+f p move, the move where he shoves his hands towards you, is unsafe so punish that on block.

Don't mind that V-skill, the poison glob. It has no hitstun, and the poison is really not such a problem for a character like Karin.

The poisoned state goes away when you hit him, also the trap that puts on the ground also vanishes if you hit him.

If you blocked the initial hit of his CA where he goes up in the air, prepare for the cross up after the animation plays.

Your normals may not have as much range as his, but they're generally faster.
 
Matches every few seconds and load times are short, keep this up Capcom and we're good. PS4 btw. The only problem is I've faced the same Bipson 4 times in a row now.

Believe me, I'd love to, but at this point, even legitimate looking players seem to be disconnecting on me. Had a Dhalsim with a 2 win streak disconnect because I overwhelmed him. Had a Ryu disconnect after a close, but fair match where I just won.

It feels incredibly futile to keep battling enemies that run away after I've won, and to be honest shouldn't even be possible in the game at all if Capcom had any sense.

I would probably be in the ~2000 range at this point with my win record, but when 3/4 of my wins don't count because other players don't want to accept their loss, it's pointless.

For now I've invented a new game of trying to outplay people in casual matches with Mika when I don't really know how to play her or even particularly like her. Still having more fun.
 
So wanted to unlock the normal colors on survival for Chun for the default, bit Bison and I was using the battle outfit which I never select ... ( ._.). At least the white is ok.
 
Fchamp's Sim in second on the leaderboards now, damn thats a quick rise. Floe in 12th with Rashid lol

Just chill out about it and focus on leveling your skills rather than leveling your rank. If your having a hard time winning at the rank that you are at, be that 0lp 500lp, or 2000lp, then you are probably at the rank you need to be at right now.
 
Is there any way on PC to save replays to your computer without using any sort of recording software?

You could do this with SFIV, too. I just mean officially his name is still Balrog in the US, so M. Bison is still exclusive to Japan.

But it's not about that, it's about all the wins not getting counted and only the losses do. I'm beating people pretty handily

This is hands down the best OT I've seen in.. shit... maybe ever. Jesus Robot Pants three cheers & thanks for putting in the time! Even just seeing the V-System so cleanly described with animated gifs- a week into playing it and I already had to remind myself about how the V-Reversal works :/. Thanks for your clear explanation & for keeping the GAF so clean.

Actually kinda held my own, bet he was mad because he clearly knew the combos and shit, and I was just jumping around like a madman on Rashd :p

I understand why people are frustrated with quitters, and I bet they will have something in place to punish them in time, but it wouldn't make sense for Capcom to have a ragequit punishment system in place right now. The servers are ass.

Watch, as soon as the servers start working properly, there will be a system in place to punish RQers, and the people who leave will be without skill AND points for not sticking it out.

They may save their precious points today, but when this system is implemented, the savages are gonna take them back anyway. Right now, it just isn't feasible to have that set up with the servers doing seemingly random shit all the time.

I thought the MP one was better. It is ridiculous. also, I went up against a birdie the other day that kept me out of the air with crouching MP all day. That shit even stops cross ups 100% of the time.

IT IS SUCH A CONVINCING ANSWER as an AA tool

Yep. I'd much rather not get points from rage quitters now, than be getting penalties when the servers shit the bed given how much that has been happening.

It does seem like they could have made it so the person who didn't quit gets their LP though, even if they quitter is currently not punished.
