If you want to be equally amused and disturbed Google search "Taxidermy Drones".Can someone PLEASE tell me what this is from? I've spent the last 5 mins killing myself laughing.

Yeah, the art could have been stolen, or it could have been purchased for use, we don't know if Ubisoft owns that piece or not.
We'll probably find out soon since I doubt Naughty Dog will go long without making a statement.
I'm thinking it was an accident.
I don't understand why things like this can't just be seen as a complement to the original concept artist. It's not like that picture on the wall is some vital part of the game, or that anyone playing it really even gives a damn. Game isn't going to make more money because of this picture on the wall. I'd think an artist would just be happy to have the exposure.
Relax, I was just pulling your chain.
Couldn't care less if someone stole my gif.![]()

It's a bit disappointing you are a mod... because people responding to this post will actually contain themselves and not tell you exactly how they feel right now after reading this, LOL.Well, at least they managed to steal from a better franchise I suppose.
Pretty embarrassing but not the end of the world, it was most likely not intentional. Even if some people in this thread are probably currently standing next to a wall filled with ND artwork pictures with string tying them all together like they are Carrie fucking Matheson. When you outsource you can run into some issues like this. The picture is of something pretty generic. That kind of natural arch appears in all kinds of media. For example something very similar is right beside Costa Del Sol in FFXIV by the crab FATE. So I could see overlooking that it was ripped off concept art.
Naughty Dog just shot themselves in the foot.
I don't know how much the rest of you know about developing concept art (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like being a game director, where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw over a fellow concept artist, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is the gaming public that plays Ubisoft games, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Uncharted 4, nor will they purchase any of Sony's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Naughty Dog has alienated an entire market with this move.
Naughty Dog, publicly apologize and cancel Uncharted 4 or you can kiss your business goodbye.

Go find Ami post in the FF13 XBOX360 announcement thread.
Reminds me a little of this. But damn, another game's concept art is pretty bad.

That's not Ellen Page bruh
Well, at least they managed to steal from a better franchise I suppose.
OK, wonder why Ellen Paige called them out on it after it was mentioned numerous times.
There's so much art that goes into a game like this it isn't easy to cross-reference every texture.
They obviously trusted someone they shouldn't have. It isn't some intentional nod to another game.

Has this been posted?
Has this been posted?
No but looks like her, to the point Ellen Paige made a complaint.
What...in the hell...is that?
for all we know, it could have been the same contract concept artist who did work for ass creed who just resubmitted to naughty dog

I agree btw ;P
Hehe. I just thought of a Goofy comic strip, where he paints a fence and then paints a sign that says "fresh paint". But since the sign was just painted as well, he added a smaller sign next to it, also saying "fresh paint"What if I'm the real Ubermatik
My whole life has been a lie

Not shit sherlock, it always was.
That one didn't get much traction for obvious reasons. I mean, there's a slight resemblance in there, somewhere, but nothing to call for stolen image.
Upload again with better and more fitting aliasing in the upper left corner

Tali one was better!Reminds me a little of this. But damn, another game's concept art is pretty bad.

I wonder if the artist of the original art is glad their work will now be used on a good game 👀
Not like before. Now a days the very first question in development is probably, "how do we maximize our income?".
Tali one was better!
